My first Beta (RR 125 4t) had a adjusterbolt for the rear brake pedal. So you could easily adjust the free play on the pedal... not sure why the bigger bikes doesn't come with it.
Yes. It significantly reduces the slop in the the brake pedal. By that I mean when you push down the brake pedal it will initiate the brakes immediately. That way you can set the brake height exactly where you want and then when you touch him you'll have breaks.

Interesting. The big bikes use the old school nissin hardware which goes back to the 90s.
