The first James Bond film this appears in is Goldfinger, which is the third official James Bond film from EON productions! It actually appears in 9 Bond films (including No Time To Die) and funnily enough 7 of the 9 appearances it has had in Bond have been in 7 of the last 9 films in the last 25 years. The other two were in the 60s, 1964 and 1965.
The DB5 was first featured in Goldfinger then it reprised its role in SkyFall... then again in the new film... No Time To Die...

You should watch the bond movies..doubt you'd have the time to watch all 25 or so of them..you could just watch daniel Craig's bond movies, from casino royale to no time to die(which releases later this year) :)

The gearbox was designed for racing and actually doesn't have any synchros. It's a really good transmission so that's probably why it didn't have any upgrades.
