I own a tdubb and have rode it as off road as it gets in the rocky mountains, through literal horse trails crossing rivers creeks and mountains into wilderness that few get to see here in Northern Arkansas, I ride it nearly every weekend. I even used it to drag deer and even canoes full of deer on snow, several thousand miles later i can tell the world that a tw200 with a 26" maxxis bighorn on the back is 1 step above the mars rover. Equal to only a 98 honda fourtrax 300 4x4, with the steel gas tank.
My most favorite bike of all time! I have her set up for Washington's BDR, since I live only a few miles from one of the sections. Getting over the pavement sections, I have a hitch rack and my wife drives the truck, drops me off, and away I go. She meets me at the other end. Nirvana!
Good video I love watching people take on snow having a good time , the TW can do it. Imagine if you had an atv tire on rear and a better front tire for better traction, you would have very little issues getting around, looking forward to some more tw winter riding
This reminds me of my '88 KDX200. It's the air-cooled KIPS 2-stroke enduro racer, in fectory white(not green). I need to put more ride time on it even though it's power delivery is quite a bit too spicy for winter riding.
@@advriley It should. I got it a couple years ago and completely rebuilt the engine as it was still unopened from factory. I did the crank with OEM rod kit and bearings, the clutch/trans got stainless DDU bearings, and the top end was done with a Wiseco. It also got a new DG full exhaust and Devol pipe guard. I built up a Works shock for the rear and will be doing a fork upgrade soon, likely Gold Valves to keep it stock appearing. I have a spare top end that I'll be sleeving up to a 72mm bore to make it a 240cc hammer as soon as I get the time/ambition. I'll pull and box up the current top end for later once that is done. Enjoy the riding and stay safe.
If interested watch DUALSPORT APOCALYPSE, or BRADLEY TW 200. They both use atv tires on the TDUB I might do the same one day, I just ride the hardball a lot right now, so I wait but the atv tires are awesome

Thank YOU!! Heck yes it’s all about getting out having fun.
An atv rear tire and knobby front would make for wicked winter traction 🦾
