This is what's been missing in recent years. Console bundles that are actually themed around the game they come with. I'm glad playstation is both bringing this back, and also releasing them separately so I don't have to buy a whole new console and replace my current ps5 with this special edition one

This is amazing and I'm not just talking about the faceplates, controller and bundle. The audio of Peter and Miles working together to get the symbiote off is great! 🤩😱 Hopefully, it's a scene from the game and not just new dialogue recordings for the announcement. Sounds like it is to me.

Unfortunately it looks like not only is this not in the game but the venom fight against Peter and miles in the streets without the anti venom gimmick that was advertised also wasn’t in the game. I love this game but the certain things it misses on are huge and I cannot get passed them for the life of me.
Plates should be restocked. They were sold out before 10AM as they went live early. Seems a bit unfair.

Ok this is actually the coolest console skin reveal trailer I’ve ever seen. I thought it was just gonna show the design with some generic background music but it had game music and some actual lines of dialogue not to mention that amazing visual effects.

The colour scheme resembles the black space symbiote taking over the spider suit.
I just noticed but if you listen carefully at 0:20, the sound used for the Symbiote is the same tasmanian devil sound effect used for Venom in Spider-Man 3. The roaring noise after getting hit with Mile's Venom Blast

This reminds me of my Spider-Man edition PS4, which was an absolutely stunning themed console. The fact that I can purchase a spider-man edition cover for the PS5, which already has my dark plates, is just a cherry on top.

The covers are so easily made you could make your own custom one at home just get the spider stencil and spray the cover red and you could even use somthing like clay and mold the symbiote on the cover and paint that black so it stands out instead of just being flat

Selling the faceplates separate along with the controllers helps so much because of those who have a PS5 already, but of scalpers buying the limited edition consoles quick and reselling it for higher price.
Judging from the trailer and the dialogue over here, it's clear that this dialogue takes place after MJ tells miles to go help (save) Peter. And when miles arrives Peter asks for his help to get the symbiote off of him to which miles replies, "what is this stuff!?" And then gets an idea to shock it to which Pete says "nice! one more time 1..2..3!" Then miles shocks Peter's entire body to remove the symbiote which works and that's shown here by the symbiote getting off the console. Pretty clear. Right?

Well the 28th has passed and MANY people including myself were unable to get the cover and the very small amount went mostly to scalpers and bots who are selling it for up to $200. And they say that there will be no re issue of this so you got to get the console bundle to get it….great.
