Got the digital edition but bought this special edition as those plates are seriously popping and wanted the option to play discs also. Best of both.

Looks great mann! I was too late for the plates but luckily I got the controller. And indeed the controller looks so good. I did pre-ordered the Collectors Edition so that’s really good. Can’t wait for the game! Only 1,5 months to go 😊

So I just got the notification that my new Spidey PS5 is on track to arrive later today, so I can't wait. This will be my first PS5 so exited to play Spiderman Remastered and Miles Morales between now and when Spiderman 2 comes out. And I may place this right next to the PS4 Pro Spiderman Limited Edition console. SPIDER-MAN PS5!

I was exactly the same way and then ever since the latest firmware update all PlayStation 5 games crash do not I swear do not transfer your data over to the PS5 versions

5:36 looks awesome with the classic playstation sticker, really pops against the black
I ordered a red sticker to put over the PS5’s LED, it’s going to look insane with the plates. The set is amazing, I ordered the controller too I just wish it was brighter and had a textured logo on the touchpad.

Personally I'm hoping that the controller light's might change maybe a darker blue or red? like they did in Jedi Survivor with the light saber colours as you mentioned in one of your previous vids, but I like the the idea of the Spider-Man emblem appearing instead of the playstation one when booting up your console.
That's probably gonna happen in the actual game

I'm hyped for Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty, AC Mirage & Baldurs Gate 3. Spiderman is more of a play when it's for sale in the bargain bin or free type of game for me lol

Yes, that's it. I imagine people are "side-grading" theirs for this edition.
For me, my PS5 has not been heavily used, so no point in replacing it - I'm happy buying the cover and controller separately - even though my wife was not too happy.
These days, the most use the PS5 it gets is my son is playing Minecraft on it.
If we were financially stable, it would have been nice to replace my console with this limited edition and gift the normal PS5 to my godson.
I may have to grab the accessories... I think they look awesome!
I pre-ordered the controller for launch day delivery but decided against the plates so I can save enough money for the actual disc version of the game when it comes out ⚡❤ (the controller looks amazing imo, my first ever limited edition controller)

Controller pre-order arrived today and I’m very happy with it - the red is a lot darker then I expected but I think it fits and looks nice (I know it’s cause he has bright lights but it quite a bit darker then the video). Keeping my eye on ps direct for plates restock :)

I’m still debating if I should buy the Spidey PS5 or wait for a potential announcement of a PS5 Slim or Pro. What do you guys think I should do?
I’m missing out on a lot of games and Spidey is my favorite character of all time, but the idea of a smaller and a tad more powerfull/upgraded PS5 sounds pretty good. I would have to wait one more year if they do announce it though.
if you don’t care about spoilers prob wait if you wanna play it immediately it’s fine if you miss out on a upgrade and get the spidey ps5

I’m more than hyped for Spider-Man 2….it’s tempting to buy a ps5 right now especially with the limited editions coming out but Imma hold and wait till their nxt anniversary and get a limited edition one if they’ll make any

The grey camo controller is still my favorite. I rock two of those and the camo faceplates on the console
Man, I wish I was a bigger fan of Spider-Man to justify purchasing the controller or console covers, because the design does look quite good. But happy for everyone who is excited for the game's release!

Amazon still have some stocks left check there, or walmart has them. :)

Spider-Man PS5 controller is better. Plus the PS4 controller wasn't that good because the white color on analog stick turns into vanilla overtime and the sticker behind peels off.
I know because i have one.
With this one it's far better. It should've been like this from the start with bIack analog sticks and no sticker at all.
Plus the Spider-Man PS5 version is called Gonna Put Some Dirt On Your Cover.
