Love that you guys cover the often-overlooked topics. I myself use a more direct takeback like Djokovic/Murray. I tried doing the more loopy takeback, but I found that it's harder to time due to there being more movement involved.
Please please please more videos on the racket drop ....this video is awesome!
Awesome! Want to take this info out on the court already!
Please more videos about backhand 🙏
You got it, Cirroz ;)
RacquetFlex ROCKS!
Thank you!!
Great! Thank you!
Very nicely done video, as always!
Yes, yes, more on the flip!!
2nd'd!
yeap, flip
Love it! I have seen instructions from coaches on full loop back or short pull back - didn't connect until now that I need to pick one and stay with it!
YOURE THE BEST OMG
love the content, conveyed in a very engaging way, keep up the good work!
Love the video. Subscribed. Can't wait for the flip!!
Thanks coach 👍🏻🎾
This man needs more subs people
Great explanation. Thank you.
Great video! Thanks for this.
excellent video, thanks for the great detail
Why not yet 1 mil subs? your channel always highlights the most important keys. Please keep up!
Yes, please do a video on flip
Great video as usual chaps.
Would love to see a video on 2HBH put-away high short ball if possible. Thanks!
very nice video on two handed backhand topic and yes i want more :-)
Another fantastic vid from Racquet Flex !!! I love this on the 2 HBH. Please do more like this and one of the 2 HBH wrist lag and snap.
You guys Rock !!!
Thanks for watching, Patrick! You got it - 2HBH wrist lag and snap video on our list 🏆.
We need a video on the “racquet flip” on the backhand!
YESSSSS! RACKET FLIP VIDEO ASAP !!!
Interesting thank you !
Thanks for another video. Congratulations on the work. I would like very much that the same movements made from 8:40 to 9:00 of video were also demonstrated for the forehand (step or progression 1, step 2, step 3 and step 4). Please make a video showing forefand that way too. Thank you.
Thank you for this!!!
Thank you for watching!
Perfect 👏🏻
I have waiting for you guys to put out a 2 HBH series and I was not disappointed, great job! I would love to see a video on the 2 HBH wrist lag and snap.
Hi Tony, that's fantastic to hear! 2HBH lag and snap is scheduled for creation. 👍 Thank you.
In the end, just use what you are most comfortable with.
I used the number 2 backswing most of my life. When hit correctly, it generated massive speed and spin. BUT sometimes I just missed the timing and I ended my swing with just a "back to the court" backhand with almost no power behind it. Also sometimes I would get jammed at the contact point meaning the ball would just fly up to the fence.
I started using more of a number 3 backswing recently and it was a massive improvement. It has not the same spin as I was used to, but on the other hand it gave me much more consistency on my backhand. Idk, it helps me better with timing I guess.
TL;DR: Try new things. it might be the one "missing bit" to your full potential game.
awesome and amazing! please do how to do the flip video!
You got it!
Perfect 👌
Good video. I would love to see a video on the two handed backhand weight transfer.
Just discovered your channel.... great stuff..... I have a topspin two hand backhand.... My challenge is that the ball does not go deep enough. The more topspin I put, the less depth. Can you do a video about how to get a two-handed topspin to land deep? Great channel.... Appreciate how you break things down. Great channel.
Wow! Ian at essential tennis gave reference to your channel and I’m amazed! This is so helpful!
I’ve had a 2 hander my whole life and I struggle with cadence (split step, unit turn and footwork) so any more focus on this would be awesome. Thank you so much for this well organized video!!
Great video
I would love a video on the flip aspect since i have trouble with it.
Hi Dante, thanks for letting us know!
Best technical tennis channel on RUclips!
Great video but I’d like to know more about the hands during the whole action. Should my dominant hand holding the butt end of the tennis grip lead the direction when both arms are turning, striking the ball and following through like a singlehanded? Or should both hands be more synchronised? Or should the dominant hand leads the turn and your non-dominant lead the contact and follow through?.
Could you elaborate on hit a top spin ball vs a flat ball?
Could you guys make a vid on how to anticipate and prepare early for the ball? And keep up the good work ❤️
Hi Sai, absolutely! Thanks for the suggestion and support.
Subscribed!! Love the channel!! I'm struggling with the transition from a one handed backhand to a two handed backhand. Could you provide any advice on some tips with the transition? Which two handed backhand variation would work best with someone who's accustom to a one handed backhand? Thanks!
Hi Shooshi1011, thanks for watching and subscribing! Great question... I've hit with a 1HBH for my entire life and relearning the backhand with 2 hands, one of the biggest things I had to re-find was my ideal contact.
You might find that because the 1HBH requires less torso rotation, the contact point of your two-hander is late (too far to your side). In any case, learning how to utilize your torso rotation, non-dominant arm to extend through your shots, and re-find your contact point would give you a great head start.
As for the style of 2HBH backswing you should use, I'd recommend the 2nd or 3rd variations. But it's most important that you start experimenting to see what you're most comfortable with. To add, your main focus should be on building the proper fundamentals I covered at 5:58 in the video - and the style you use will probably come naturally.
I hope this helps!

Awesome video! I have a pretty good 2-hander of the 2nd type right now. It can generate good power and spin when the opponent hits it hard to me. What about a video on generating good power and depth on your own when you aren't just returning a hard ball? Maybe on putting away shots with your two-hander.
Hi InifiniteQuest86, thanks for the support! That's a good point - redirecting the pace of faster balls (especially when you have two hands on the racquet) tends to be easier because you're not generating your own power.
How To Crush Easy Balls - Two-Handed Edition (title may not be official 😜) coming up soon!
@@RacquetFlexThanks! Awesome!
Hey, I have the same racket that he has. I have a direct take back on my two-handed backhand because I can prepare quicker.
Great, pls talk about contact point specially for players switching from one to two hander
What about fognini's backhand? it is nor one of the 3 types is it? if not, can you make his on video or? I love your guide og know Brian Gordon from Tennisplayer.
Hi awsome. I tell my students to push back the elbow both forehand and tohanded, because then you cannot get your racquet further back. Besides both hands should all the time be in front of the spine.
8:51 hi… for first progression which hand is leading the racket?
Thank yoy
super
Hi can I know how to access paid backhand videos in your website I didn't find backhand I found serve and Forehand only
Hey ! May I know what cam you use for your vids ? Wide angle, slow mo and so on. Thank you.
Hey JP! We use a gopro
@@RacquetFlex Thank you ! Happy from it ? Not too expensive ? Which model ?
what about Schwartzman backswing?? where you clssified it
What about the idea that a right-handed player's two-handed backhand is essentially a left-handed forehand with the right hand mostly acting in a supporting role or guide.
Great stuff. Your lefty video demonstrations are slightly confusing. Flipping those might help. Thanks for the great content
There is a fourth type of backhand backswing. The one that Norrie uses which looks more like a volley than a true backhand swing.
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻❤️
Please forehand konsisten
show me flip plz
Your videos are great, but there is a big unbalance between videos devoted to forehand and backhand. You should describe in detail the fundamentals of the modern backhand, specially the THBH, which is the most widely used.
Did you say 500 reps each progression?!
Who first started the jumper two- handed backhand ?
OK
How about nadals takeback? Unlike djokavich the racket isnt above his hand but below it
Give me some flip
As someone who has watched a lot of tennis videos and learning tennis against a wall via trial and error- these videos feel way too complex. What is the point of describing every single different take back and every little detail. Well I guess for more advanced players.
never dip your lead shoulder. Do the opposite, like when he had it at his chin, generates power.
is weak to wining backhand course coming? haha
