- Short morning flight on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from Bay City Regional Airport (BYY) Texas direct to the Gulf Coast at Sargent located at the northern end of East Matagorda Bay. Flew over Mitchell's Cut, northeast along the coast to Cedarlake Bayou and then turned back to BYY, across the ICW and the marshlands of the San Bernard National Refuge.
What a beautiful day to fly!

Den, I was at the hangar the day your trike left for Texas. I thought Larry said Houston area. Where are you flying? Is that Matagorda Bay? What airport are you flying out of? At first, i thought it was KAXH Houston Southwest, but looked closer and saw it wasn't. Where are you flying from?
