They always lie about not being able to do anything about it; If a city can put down a road, they should rip it up if its wrong... You have to get ahold of a media cycle to get their attention. Sadly it feels like a lot of municipality operations are like that now.
I paid for a job on my car and it wasn't the issue and I still paid $1,090 for a new radiator which I was scammed to get one for no good reason!!!!!!! I usually see "speed hump" for these wider, smoother ones and "speed bump" for the smaller, more circular, and usually yellow ones that will make you regret your life choices at 15 mph.
Knocking the car out of alignment is a bogus claim. One that won’t be taken seriously. It is a hazardous obstacle that affects him and anyone else driving as he backs out of his driveway.
That is a speed table not a speedbump and unless you hit it at ridiculous speeds, it is not going to affect your alignment a tiny bit even. Let's keep it real here. I agree the speed table should never be put overlapping a driveway and that gutter dip at the end of that is totally unacceptable.
