Welcome to the story of a guy who just wants to walk his dog peacefully. Where Jujutsu Kaisen isn't shy to stop and explain the specific details of a situation, entity or ability for a good half of an episode, Chainsaw Man's author is perfectly happy to just let us figure everything out by ourselves. So a lot of stuff can be open to interpretation and never got directly confirmed even in manga. As such, crackpot theories are welcome and encouraged. P. S. There were actual chainsaws used in the recording of both the anime and its opening.
The copium, just say he left things vague because he was afraid of twisting himself up, and therefore it's not that complex to begin with. "Good half of an episode 🤡"
@@rainofkhandaq6678The biggest lesson of storytelling is to show and not tell. Jjk take half the manga explaining their over complicated power systems that character writing and development falls apart.
@@adamcsanki6641 Hell’s Paradise and Jujitsu Kaisen are the other two of the dark trio. Chainsaw man is my favorite out of the three. The manga is just so wild. All three are great though.
Chainsaw Man's author is an interesting individual to say the least... He has a twitter account where he pretends to be his own (non existent) little sister, and there is a video of him trying to levitate, among other things. But despite his wackiness, he is a master at depicting the human condition. When he writes a story, the plot is used to move a character, and not the other way around. This makes his characters feel like real people, and he's not afraid to let them mess up or be morally grey. It's an absolute mind f of a series, but I hope you enjoy! I know I'll enjoy the reactions!
I began reading Chainsaw Man before the series was even announced. JJK and Chainsaw Man are the BEST new gen anime out there. Chainsaw Man is a WILD ride, and now, with the movie announcement, this is about to take off! Can't wait to see your reactions!! The character development of this series is next level!
In Japan, naming a puppy "pochi" is not actually common, but it is often used as a stereotypical expression. The "-ta" in "pochi-ta" used to be used at the end of male names. In other words, when one hears the name "pochita," one somehow thinks, "Is that a male puppy?" You can imagine that "pochita" is a male puppy. By the way, "-ko" or "-mi" is often used at the end of a female's name. However, the assumption is that these are "suffixes" used in human names, and we dare to use such expressions to create a funny atmosphere.
Hope you enjoy the Chainsaw man series! Since you are into gaming I recommend Cyberpunk Edgerunners and Arcane (if you do it in Aug/Sept a lot will watch it for season 2)
Basically this along with JJK and Hell's Paradise are the modern day "triade" of "Dark Shönen" we have around. All pretty nice stories and very enjoyable series
I'm going to be honest, I don't know how much anime you've watched outside your channel. But, if you haven't watched much outside of it, this is going to be a series that challenges you a lot. It's very weird but also really good. Good luck I guess lol
Not sure where you're getting your info from, it was a top 10 series in Japan last year. You have to keep in mind that a lot of Japan's popular series aren't given a western release, so naturally it will perform better by the numbers where there are fewer options. Edit: 2022, not last year
