- I really dig this song so i wanted to make a lyric video for it.
(((I don't want to mention this but i have to, this band gets a lot of unnecessary hate, and it's due to "RUclipsrs" making really biased/illogical/unfunny/crybaby reviews influenced by each other's.
The EXACT same way hate for Star Wars - The Phantom Menace started.
If you have "hate" for this song or the band, i don't want to hear it, just move on... or better yet just be nice.
After all, Heavy Metal's overall theme, whether you like it or not, is Satan & sex... if you want to hate something for being out of line, then head over to Rhianna or that type of bollocks that is in fact just awful and advertises sex and bad habits to an underage audience.
I'm pretty sure this band isn't suppose to be taken seriously, it's a bit of fun and also possibly a kink type thing for delicious Goth chicks... Lindemann & Lordi does a bunch of that, yet no one complains... so please, keep it nice, fair, and logical.)))
Also, this should go without saying, don't dislike the video JUST because it's Psychosexual, i really don't care about your negative indoctrinated opinion, it's childish, you're not disliking the song, you're disliking my lyric video, if you want to let out your hate, then fk off to another channel.

From now on, i am just going to delete negative comments unless i believe them to be genuine, and this is the reason:
People are obviously coming from a certain video just copying what the someone else says.
Whether it's "TheHouseOfMasks" or the obvious 30 year old incel dude with long hair, or whatever... every negative comment is the damn same and it's boring.
I am open to all comments and opinions but not if they are clearly just indoctrinated, and it's embarrassing hearing people out and seeing that they have no mind of their own and how easily manipulated they are.
Because I'm seeing a pattern of bandwagon group think: "the lyrics are bad" / "the vocals are bad" & and people give the same argument which falls apart immediately when an actual thought is given... people are obviously getting their opinions from a so called "review" video.
So i say AGAIN:
* It's better than pretty much anything that's put out through mainstream, and people should be making comparisons like that.
* The lyrics are no worse than some lyrics written by Rammstein, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Lordi, Ghost, GWAR, etc. (In regards to Satanism or sex)... but no one ever points that out, and that's because Psychosexual is just an easy target.
* And if you want to talk about the vocals "talk singing" ...I'm here to tell you that it's an actual technique, just because you haven't heard of it, doesn't mean it's a bad thing, it's only your ignorance that makes you think it's bad.
The technique is called "Sprechgesang" and many artists (pretty much every) do this.
...i was going to make bullet points here, but there's honestly WAY too many examples for this.

Everyone you listed brought something to music that people remember. This band is just a copy and paste version of all the already mediocre numetal shit from the late 90's. If you like this, hey man by all means enoy it. But its not fucking good and you should really accept the fact that people might not like the same shit as you. Your lyric video is solid though. Keep it up.

And i completely agree that if people think this band is trash, that's fine, but as I've already explained, all I'm seeing from people are the same reasons that amateur reviewers have given on why they dislike the band/music.
People have just repeated the same thoughtless dribble as the RUclipsrs, one of them being AJgood (i like him, but his review was mostly for comedic effects and kind of mediocre, and people took it too seriously and too far)
Just giving bad reviews none-stop which actually made the band have to relaunch... it's like a weird Metal version of cancel culture, that's what happened.
And i get many negative comments on this video (that i now delete) that are EXACTLY the same, it's irrational bandwagon vilification.
I like it when people explain in their Own Words why they dislike it, i can tell it's their own words and not someone else's, those comments i like, it's productive.
But just look at the amount of dislikes this video has got, that's never happened on any of my videos before and i guarantee if people didn't harshly (and for comedic effect) review this band, people wouldn't have such a negative view of it, and would have been like "oh, 5FDP's drummer, alright" and if they didn't like it, they would have been like "ehhh" and moved on.
This is also one of my popular videos, which means people purposely search for the band and find videos just to spread hate, so it's not as though people just stumble onto it.
Just look at how Ghost started, a Satanic pope and monks singing about Satan, death & sex?... stereotypical and ridiculous as fk when you get down to it, but 2010 people weren't doing crappy review videos on things as much, but for sure if people did, Ghost wouldn't have been as successful as they are now.
Psychosexual, unfortunately has just been cancel cultured.

I think album wasn't as bad as some people said, i enjoyed it more than some of the albums of more successful and respected bands
Also i wouldn't categorize their record as a heavy metal it's more like industrial/goth pop-rock
You can delete my comment if you want. I've listened to it 4 times and my conclusion is that this is awful. Some bands are able to convince you that 'evil' is on the agenda. These guys try to hard...if you have to convince me that you are evil and that your message is sinister at least make me feel it. Be aggressive and have some attitude in your music. Its alternative pop-rock (if that)...not metal.

I like to use Ghost as an example, i really doubt that Tobias Forge thought that a Satanic Pope and monks singing about sex and death would be as popular as they became.

I need this album I'm sad people hated on them so much they scrapped there first album... I dont take em seriously but its entertaining as hell from Devil daddy lol name cracks me up to the costumes and whole gimmick they seem to be having fun and some there music might not be good but interesting and has potential

Please don't take it seriously. This really sounds good. The lyrics aren't awfull and the music is competent. If you add and develop a good breakdonwn after the "good riff", it woukd easily be a 7/10 song.
You can tell this is a mockery/ ironic band.
It s in the league of Ghost. Ligth years away different, but you sense the vibe.

I've found this band through The Metal Meltdown where he reviewed 9 of their albums and I feel like I should hate it given how much he despised it... But I really don't, these songs are so adorably cheesy and I love them.
This song is ok, but begin this sin and the twist on believing in yourself is to keep you from Jesus Christ and Salvation. Sociopathic evil and very well played to destroy as many people's eternal lives as possible. Well done to destroy people on purpose.
The musical base is alright, it could've worked and the choirs are actually kinda cool, but the lyrics sound like something an edgy 13 year old would write.
"Nothing is worth anything, because we're all gonna die" and "if there is Hell, we're already living in it". Jeez.

I like the lyrics/meaning of the song (we've all been in the position of losing faith and giving up at points in our lives.) i like to have a song for eveey emotion.
I like the way the lyrics are delivered.
I like the sound of his voice and the filtered sound over it.
I like the guitar riffs, i also like the (i don't know what it is but to me it sounds like a piano in the background)
And i like the costumes the band wears.
But also because it's a bit of fun... I'm not taking the band seriously like people are.

I disagree with heavy metal's theme being "satan and sex". Heavy Metal is just a style of music and while it's more appropriate for conveying darker themes, it's a lot more nuanced and can cover a wide range of themes including childhood trauma and struggling to find your place in the world.

This is the only song I really actually like by them. It could use some improvements, but compared to the rest, this actually isn't bad. The instrumentals are a little basic and could be spiced up some and the lyrics are missing something, but this one's actually enjoyable

I started out listening to this band as a piss-take, but ended up psyopping myself into enjoying it. Now I unironically think this is a great band.
