Example: You don't need to throw fifteen people off of a building to prove that gravity exists. We all know it does, we have *faith* so to speak, in science -- because it's so simple to prove. Science also proves that what we have did not come from nothing, it came from gravity, atoms, gases and everything else that always existed.
One might ask: "Well where did those atoms and gravity come from?"
Well let me ask you. Can you picture a true 'nothing?' No. Do you know why? Because 'nothing' is like before you existed. It's not having memory, it's blackness without the consciousness of being aware that it's black. True 'nothing' is completely outside our comprehension. There are still questions on why this true nothing exists or if it existed at all before the atoms and gravity, but the answer doesn't have to automatically be 'magic.' It's okay to not understand yet. We're young as a species and planet.
With the ultimate goal of my life being less self-centered on my own eternal bliss, unlike most religions, I dedicate my life to helping others enjoy their small time here on Earth. You can't fully live in the present if you're always looking forward to this mystical paradise. I love life, and when the sweet release of death finally happens, I'll pass on and have done many things to help others. Honestly, if there is a God, I don't see a better way to end up in paradise than what I'm doing.
