The Aero 98 pretty much instantly broke my elbow so the Extreme Pro won by default! I did try the Aero for a few months, even though it broke my elbow. It just generates a great ball. But the Extreme Pro is comfy and can pretty easily be modified to compensate for being just a bit more flimsy.
i came from a speed pro and the extreme pro felt unstable stock when hitting heavy balls. But it's an amazing platform racquet. it became a BEAST once i added 6g total to 3,9,and 12 to add some stability and swing weight. My level went from 3.5 to 4.5 immediately. It plays like a control racquet but you can impart so much more spin to the ball.
I’m a 5.0 that’s debating the same switch. Everyone said how unstable the extreme pro felt, which is weird because it feels super solid to me with more control that the speed pro. Maybe it’s because of my racket head speed but I really like this stick
@@MrFunkyko are you talking about directional control or spin control? this is designed as a spin racket with some control added. interesting you find it has more control over speed pro ( I am debating btw those rackets, not judging you) did you check the specs of yours?
Hi there. Great review! I’m using the gravity pro 2023 these days and I want to change a more spin friendly racket but with good control. Which one will be better for me?
The Extreme Pro has a low twistweight (weight at 3 and 9). The Pure Aero 98 has one of the highest twistweights of any 98, and even higher than most 100s. High twistweight means more stability against big hitters but harder to use for mere mortals. When they are talking about "stability" here in the Aero, the twistweight is a big part of the reason.
I think what’s “better” is moot, two players can have the same style but one can love or hate a racket. I quite gel with the extreme pro, yeah my forehand needs to adjust but everything else is great
Pure Aero VS looks much better than Pure Aero 98 which looks much better than Extreme. Also, Pure Aero 98 is the worst feeling racquet I ever tried, and I have tried about 15

I enjoy all your videos - your head to head comparisons are my favourite.
The RF’s are very exciting rackets that I can’t wait for! Hopefully in a shop near me soon! 👍🙏
Nice vid! Could you make the same comparison but with their 100 inch counterparts?
Great review !

why did you gave up speed pro?

@@leventeyuboglu4501 changing direction on a higher pace ball as well as it doesn’t fly on me as much as my speed pro which sometimes has too much pop

Good job fellas, not interested in either racket myself, but I love a good ol chinwag about tennis nonetheless.

All subjective really…I have both and prefer the feel of the Extreme Pro and also like the look of the PA98😂

Is ReString Zero your favourite string for the PureAero98?
How would you rank the percept 97 or vcore 98 to these rackets
I found the aero 98 just a little bit too stiff for comfort, otherwise it would have been great
how does zero feel at 50 lbs, some recommend to lower zero to like 47 max but i'm used to 52/50
Go with the head, with customization a pretty stick.
try adding weight to the extreme and see how it differs
