At times, I use it to restore the lining of my beard, because sometimes either I or my barber gets carried away and the lines/edge are pushed down. Furthermore, I've used this product in place of a traditional beard oil. In addition, I also use this product when I wash and condition my beard (I use Scotch Porter beard wash and conditioner). I used the yellow bottle to mix with my shampoo and conditioner (every wash and condition). I used the white bottle afterwards when I am prepping and styling. Quite frankly, I found traditional beard oils to be a scam.... With using this product after washing and conditioning my beard, my beard grows so fast to the point that if I don't trim it often, I will have hairs entering my mouth while speaking or chewing. So to answer your question precisely, I use it once a week after I wash my beard. If you're African American, I would recommend that you wash your beard once a week to avoid dryness and damaging your beard. I haven’t tried this as a hot oil treatment. I might. Thanks for the suggestion! I maintain healthy ends by trimming whenever I feel that my hair needs a trim. Moisturizing my ends, Detangling from the bottom and working my way up. Avoiding heat, sleeping on satin pillow cases.

Wow that's crazy because the wild growth oil did the same thing to my hair it had my sides passed my shoulders but then my back only reach to the bottom of my neck. I had to do the big chop since the back was shorter so now I have a full slightly asymmetrical bob. I was curious as to whether or not I put enough oil in the back of my hair for it to grow the same length as my sides but but I remember putting oil in the back of my hair and massaging it in but that's what I get for not really paying attention lol . You don’t wash oil out how is it supposed to work if your immediately washing it out after. Basically just leave your hair in a protective style for however long 1-2months and then wash it out after
She meant not wash your hair for a month if you have braids, but you can still wash your hair with braids. The routine would be to put the oil everyday and wash your hair once a week. The same would be if you are not wearing braids. That’s what I did.

Oil does not actually moisturize your hair, it seals in the moisture. For ex put this after you leave in

You don’t wash oil out how is it supposed to work if your immediately washing it out after. Basically just leave your hair in a protective style for however long 1-2months and then wash it out after

She meant not wash your hair for a month if you have braids, but you can still wash your hair with braids. The routine would be to put the oil everyday and wash your hair once a week. The same would be if you are not wearing braids. That’s what I did.
