Also, they felt that Zubeldia was maxing out at around 5th placed whereas they felt Mayo had the potential to get onto the podium.

I think Saunier Duval will be good for Iban at this point. He just seemed exhausted at Euskaltel. But his rides in 2003 and 2004 were amazing.
