      Stug incarnon where it launches a bouncing ball of goo that does actually 0 damage
      Oh and it has self stagger

      The thing is, I really enjoyed stug in the Circuit (still wouldn't recommend it, though), and it has potential with very minor tweaks. Cut the alt fire, buff the stats (or just leave it open to a future incarnon stug), and either remove the 10 stack cap, or make the 11th hit detonate the stack and start back at 1.

      the stug could be fun if it worked like a chain beam where every time you shoot an enemy it makes more goo explode off them to nearby enemies which then also explodes etc, until you're actually doing reasonable damage

      ​@@samreddig8819 Nah, stug incarnon. It says the incarnon form sends large explosive shots with +30% crit chance and +100% damage, but you literally can't land the headshots to charge the alt fire.

    Worth to note that Galvanized status mods do work on Sentinel/Moa weapons, but they can't gain stacks themselves even if they get kills. They gain stacks from your weapon if you also have Galv Status mod equipped. Same with Galv multishot mods, but not crit mods due to them work only while aiming.

      Co was originally multiplicative and it still is in a a couple of exceptions , original coding just been grafted it would appear

      @@RossKyle95 Yeah, I know it was originally multiplicative! Joined the game about a year before melee 3.0
      That being said, it was fairly consistently additive in melee.
      Suddenly we just have extremely arbitrary multiplicative weapons vs additive ones, and it's just very silly, ya know?
      Also, I'm mad about Artemis bow, NGL

      @@radiofloyd2359 I think DE were lazy and obvs it’s typical of their code to do spaghetti shit lol , like how all bows are fucked with charged shots using uncharged base dmg etc but we have cintra being multiplicative on uncharged fully charged and perfect shot lol 😂

      It is, after all, a game that has more than 200 weapons, so I can understand the arduousness of the task.

    Me, personally, I've only really used Galvanized Hell and Galvanized Chamber, the multishot-boosting ones, until just recently getting Galvanized Savvy for my Cedo
    Or maybe it was for a different shotgun...either way, really appreciate the advice, man, keep up the great work!

      Funny thing is galv savvy is multiplicative to base damage mods AND cedos passive 60% which is also multiplicative itself on the glaive hits

    The second option is what I believe what the galvan status mods did. It's literally what Lavos' Cedo does when you shoot your alt fire glaives first, & then mow the enemies down with the primary.
    (yes I put Galvanized Savvy on my Cedo, not sorry lol xD)

      If you replace the SP arcane with one of the cold or toxin status gives CD and MS it's actually even better
      Nothing else for it to be additive with other than the built in CO that way

    I think the reason the galvanized status mod doesn't work on the Sonicor is because it doesn't have any status chance even though it technically can apply status effects

    This is by far my favorite Warframe series! The writing is also funky: I had a clanmate that thought that you had to aim for 12s to get galvanized crosshairs bonus, since it says: + critical chance when aiming for 12s.

    the only other thing that needs to be known is that AOE weapons don't get the condition overload style damage buff which DE confirmed this isn't a bug it's by design and therefore they won't fix any of it

      The problem is lack of consistency . They really need to add some simple way for the player to see when something works in UI (instead of doing infinite live tests or looking for guides on youtube)

      Yep it says "Direct damage" for that very reason, it's not very clear or explained at all but that pretty much confirms its by design

    There is an old mod called Peculiar Growth that makes any weapon to cause Microwave effect on the target but I'm not sure if it counts to theses systems.
    It's a good chance to make a video on these peculiar mods and if they count as stats or not, they are very old so not many people know or even have them and I'm not even sure if they are still obtainable.

    I think it possible to have a enemy with all , a hound with the primer build + Kuva nukor (magnetic) with virla heat (radiation is base) and the arcane that apply random status + xata whippers , a mele weapon to lift them , okey it a lot of work and probably they die before all are apply

    I just treat them always as additive, and I had no idea it might be multiplicative on a lot of weapons. Excluding status shotguns and some secondary weapons I did only think that getting the additive bonus was good enough, cos at 2 status procs the damage is already 160% while serration is 165%. then third proc and the gun does more damage with that mod than it does with serration, no matter the arcane, so it was worth running on a lot of rifles.
    Shotguns if they can proc status I use galvanized mod, but if they can't I just go with primed point blank. I tend to run shotgun vendetta arcane on most of my shotguns, not the acolyte arcanes. And some secondary weapons I do run with other arcanes like Cascadia empower or overcharge. Flare too quite often on status heavy weapons that I can build for heat, as 480% dmg is more than the 360% that those acolyte arcanes offer, and those weapons always run with galvanized status mod anyway.

    I didn't know any of this and I have been using them blindly on every weapon with 3 or more status effects ever since it got added. But yeah there were quite a few times where I felt like the mod barely made a difference if at all and now I know why...
    Don't look forward having to reforma things...

    I think it’s 5-6 as the most status effects you can get on a mob by your self normally. A physical weapon with two elements and a Warframe ability that applies a final six element. Granted I’m sure in the 1000+ gear in Warframe theirs something that will add even more status effects.
    Edit: Sayrin with most Kuva and Tenent weapons can get 9-10. Three physical with three different elements from mods and added element. Three from Sayrin ability’s normally and if subsume you can add a fourth through sealing the shell ability. Granted I’m not sure of a mob that would survive long enough to have 9-10 elements applied to it.

      Impact kuva nukor with proper modding:
      microwave (unique to nukors)
      Radiation (base)
      Impact (progenitor)
      slash (hemorrhage)
      Corrosive+blast or magnetic+gas (modding)
      That's 6 statuses before accounting for warframe, operator, companion, or even Secondary Encumber.
      Cedo can do IPS and all 4 base elements for 7 status effects without a single mod. You can get Radiation in a single mod now, so it's possible to get 10 status effects on a single weapon.
      And as mentioned, secondary encumber exists, so it's possible to get all status types besides lifted/knocked down, void, and microwave on any secondary weapon with rapid status application.

      Ever head of Secondary Encumber? It makes secondaries apply EVERY single status in the game in 0.5-1.5 seconds depending on the gun. I even use that on main dps secondaries nowadays, just so they can prime for themselves. For every status effect instance you inflict, there is a 24% chance to add another random status (ANY status, doesn't have to be modded on your gun) on top, which is crazy fast on any beam or high rate weapon.

    I don't know if they patched this yet, but the galvanized status mod on the incarnon telos bolter (but not the prime) is/was multiplicative with the current incarnon charges while transformed. It has a magazine size of something like 255, so you could get some mad damage for the first half of the incarnon charge.

    This inconsistency has actually led me to look for alternatives to Galvanized status mods in my builds. In practice, that tends to end up being difficult without a good dispo riven.

    What I have always hard to comprehend is how the kill effect works...
    If I want kill Bob with full power, do I first need to kill 2 random dudes, them prime Bob with all status effects and finally shoot him?

    Well now a question I have, is does Peculiar Growth trigger the "Microwave" status effect, or is it an entirely seperate thing? And if it DOES, can that be used to give an extra status type for Status Overload damage?
    This game man... I love it, but my god theres just so much shit going on behind the scenes at any given time 😂

      i did a little bit of testing and it seems to trigger the microwave status there is no visual indicator but the dmg did get higher when hitting the microwaved body part

      I'd test it myself, but I dont own Peculiar Growth, so I can't. Can anyone else back up soxoscraft's test? Not that I dont trust it, I'd just rather be sure; Science and all that. A single sample isn't a perfectly reliable test

    It sounds like these mods need a massive overhaul
    Acting different ways on different weapons or heck in that one example differently based on a full charge or not. Kinda sounds like they need to work on it cuz there is no way it's intentionally this wonky

    Dual Toxysist with Gal. Shot and Secondary Encumber and good status is a monster
    I went ham on Mine. Riven and all
    This also does wonders for the Twin Grakatas by the way. Just have arcane Pistoleer and something to deal with the recoil and you have a winner. The only problem with that is you can only proc Pistoleer on 2 of the enemies in Albrecht's Laboratory which makes Me sad
    Everywhere else though, golden

    I've read many time before that DE don't want these mods "working" for aoe weapons like the bramma. By that is it meant that the aoe weapons get additive bonuses instead of multiplicative, or do they just not give the bonus at all?

      That's what 'direct damage' refers to in the mod description: Only non-AoE damage gets the effect, whether that's multiplicative or additive. AoE damage gets nothing.

      If the Kuva Bramma arrow directly impacts the enemy, that gets the bonus. But not the explosions

      Anything listed under RADIAL ATTACK in stats wont benefit from these at all.

      Like other people have said, the radial / AoE components of weapons don't benefit from the damage bonus. (There may be a couple of exceptions.) Most AoE weapons still have a direct damage component though, and between that and the status bonus which is passive, *can* still make it worthwhile on some.

      Yeah, it actually does stack atop one another. Primary fire for both Cedo passive and Galvanized Savvy are both additive while glaive shot is multiplicative for both. And yes, they are separate multipliers.

    Is secondary encumber worth using over the acolyte arcanes if you run galvanized mods?

      Depends a lot on how fast it applies the status effects. For example, I would consider it very good on Kuva Nukor, since that spits out status effects extremely rapidly. Epitaph is often touted as another excellent user of the arcane, and if you're priming for melee or primary, I agree, but the arcane can only proc once per explosion from it. If you hit 20 enemies with a shot, only one can get an additional status proc. Not so great if you're planning on using the epitaph itself to kill.
      Kuva Nukor and Tenet Cycron, though, also work well at actually killing things in my experience, so it's probably worthwhile as a damage setup for them.

    Just my opinion....but i hate kill conditions on anything in warframe....like for example, my happy ass kills everything in the whispers assination mission, i summon boss...and plunder from hydroid doesent work cause it doesent work on bosses because...reasons? So i gotta get him down to half health to just get the adds to spawn so i can get my armor and damage buff, but as i dont build for duration and rather build for efficiency, that buff is shortly lived, all the adds are dead and im left with the last quarter of a bar....which you have to wait for him to go invulnerable again to resummon adds...
    If they are gonna go the kill condition route for the forseeable future, they better have non stop spawning for adds in boss circumstances...

    Did people really understand it as the former? I wasn't aware there was any confusion. It make perfect sense to me. Every status effect on the enemy give you 80% more damage (in the case of rifles, anyways) against the enemy.

    Wait what?! Why is it additive on some and multiplicative on others?! Worse, you're telling me it's BOTH on some weapons!?
    I have friends who find this game exceedingly difficult to get into, and I don't blame them when the game is this insanely cryptic.
    Hell, just today I learned that in Effervo, the sanctum assassinate mission, kills within the vitreum's orange circles will speed up the seeking process, so you need to wait for enemies to go inside. And I only found out because someone told me: the game never makes mention of it, and in fact encourages you to keep enemies as far away as possible!

      So actually, YOU need to be in the circle, not the enemies. So you can kill enemies outside of it, as long as you're in. I use Cordon/Manifold Bond to pull guys closer for easier kills.
      Also, just in case you didn't know, it's NOT the circle on your mini-map, it's ONLY the circle that flows on the ground. Very important distinction because they're very different size wise.

      It’s spaghetti code coming through , they’ve clearly used some of Condition Overloads code and it’s reverted to old CO on certain projectiles which was multiplicative on launch

      That is not true. 3 or more status effects with CO are better than Primed Pressure Point. That is where the *3* come from. There is no limit

      @@MCGamerCZ I keep seeing this in comments evreywhere, I even tested it in the simulcron and based on raw numbers (Notably WITHOUT viral using an Epitah primer with about 5 elements) going beyond 3 elements on the target had no effect. So....I'm not sure if it's true or not, it's really confusing. Even the Wiki mentions it on CO's page in the patch notes.

    I think the key takeaway for me is that at +80% damage per status effect, it basically matches Serration at two status effects and Hornet Strike at 3. So as long as you can reliably inflict those statuses it's a great choice.
    Considering you're usually with a squad who is also doing status effects, or you can bring a primer companion or abilities, it's worth including.
    Weapons with radial damage, as you say, don't benefit from it, so it's best to go with the standard mods. I wish they'd fix that, though!

      not working on aoe weapons is intentional, if memory serves, when these mods released it did work on aoe weapons, but it was decided they made aoe weapons too powerful and it was changed so that only "direct damage", like the mods say, get the benefit, while aoe weapons dont.

    There is a secondary arcane that has a chance to apply a random status when you apply a status onto a target. Idk if that is better than an acolyte mod but it is funny

    Well, the mod's description is pretty clear, +40% damage PER status type. While I understand it's easy to miss such details, it is actually pretty clear.
    The Arca Plasmor isn't an AoE, just a big shotgun(?) that fire a quite big projectile. Is refered to AoE only radial damage born from a projectile I believe (though is isn't clear that flamethrower type weapon does create an AoE where their "projectiles", which happen to be a beam, hit).
    And thus I thought you were exagerating, it's not *that* confusing... then I watched the rest of the video about additive, multiplicative, both, the stug and you convinced me.
    What in darnation...

      it's intended design is to work only on direct hits (for AoE type weapons) and any non-AoE weapon and be additive.
      What we actually have is spaghetticode.

    aoe for me is something that explodes which explains why plasmor gets it but bramma RADIAL dmg does not its not aoe its jsut a big bullet

    So yet another thing that requires people to go outside the game to look up what weapons can use these mods....FAIL!! That's why I don't use them. I don't want to have to go outside the game to look up what weapons work. Add something to the UI that let's us know, or put it in the codex. Lazy bastards.
