This board game is 16" diameter with 3/4" marbles and is the game everyone is familiar with. Crafted with fine hardwoods by Olsen Woodcrafting.
Chinese Checkers was introduced in the United States in the 1930s. It is derived from the game Halma, (Greek: "jump") a checkers-type board game invented about 1880.
NOTE:Marbles, rules, and instructions are included with the game.
Woods used are a combination of: cherry, walnut, oak, alder, maple, ash, hickory, and mahogany.
I used to play this all the time with my Grandma. I'm glad to know this is the same way we played and it was right way lol. I miss her and I will pass this game down to my grandkids. Thank you for this.

Aww. I used to play this with grandma too, but we had had stopped for years after she passed away. This year, we started play again with my cousins in family reunion.
Interesting fact about Chinese Checkers...the game is Chinese in name only. The game itself actually originated in Germany.
There's a variation that when you jump opponent marble, it gets sent back to home triangle. Best with 2 players... though now that I think about it, maybe my mom invented that rule to make the game longer and us occupied (and quiet) longer.

I just found our antique board from my childhood! Oh, how much fun and fond memories I have of playing this game, especially with my grandmother on Saturday evenings! She was very good at strategy and multiple jumps!

When I was little, I always loved this game cos I thought the board looks cool and and I liked to keep the marbles. But I never really played it because I didn't have enough friends to play it with

The version of the rules I grew up learning was that you could skip over empty holes provided the other side of the marble you skip over has the same number of empty holes.
So this is a possible move: [moving marble] _ _ [marble] _ _ [destination] or [moving marble] _ [marble] _ [destination]

You have to get All your marbles in someone else's tri angle
The way we use to play is when like 3 people or more was playing and if two colors was in your triangle it would make the triangle void
