The Russians have been perfecting their arctic craft since the beginning of the cold war. The amount of bases, airfields, and nuclear powered icebreakers up there outclasses any other nation. And they've been navigating those waters for decades.

Actually, it belongs to Canada. All Russia's technology, especially the military, is Generations behind Western technology. And even with Canada population under 40 million ,and we only use a fraction of our resources, not like Russia, who uses every inch of theirs .our GDP is bigger than Russia's. Just with our resources alone, we could build a military 10 times bigger than Russia's ,and obviously far more advanced. Russia is a third rate power at best .They're even behind China in technology. Their only hope was to become a democracy and friends with the West,, for technology and economic reasons. Now the Border regions Russia has with China in the future are going to belong to the Chinese, thanks to your great leader. It's obviously sad for the average Russian person, but your dictator ,should have took your country in the opposite direction, and he would have been remembered as the greatest leader of Russia.
