This man is a genius in my book most people think of book smart people when asked about who is a genius I think about people who work with their hands and have to come up with unconventional answers to hard questions. Keep up the great work Chad she will love it bro
He is for sure a innovative fabricator I love watching him work his show and wheeler dealers are my fav car shows to watch and roadkill although I don't consider them in the same ball park lol but tony Angelo built that bad ass twin engine impala or SS
Finally a show with a real guy and his crew working on real rides! Shows the real work the average guy puts into it. Like Chad just said, "no smoke and mirrors here"... thats how its really done out in the shop. Keep up all the great vids!
I was part of the group that restored the 57sc atlantic back in 2003. It was worth about $1 million then. I can't believe how much it auctioned for. This thing looks sweet though.
I never knew Vanilla ice was a fabricator. Man, that's amazing. Yo Stop, fabricate and listen, Ice is back with a 10mm extension. Something has a hold of that bolt tightly, Whip out the blow torch daily and nightly. Will the bite break? Yo, I don't know.
I don't know how anyone can give you a thumbs down Chad, all I see is a lifetime worth of old school knowledge and work done with a fantastic attitude! People like us can do great things without the fancy tools and bottomless check book.
Thanks for posting Chad, love your work man. You have a hell of a good crew, and you sir are a visionary and artist in your own right. So happy i discovered this channel. subscribed and thumbs up. In editing of the video, you can put in a "time lapse" where it fast forwards through some of the slow parts. Again thank you so much for sharing.
Type 57 Bugatti........Peter Mullin has the $40M original, in his Oxnard Cali French Car Museum........nice one so far, there is a Company in Argentina that builds these replicas as well.......$$$$$$$$$
I gather the body is 1.2 mm steel. Why did you not select 1.6 Aluminium. Aluminium probably stronger & lighter. Fabbrication difficulty? Maybe a bit of learning involved. I think Classic rebuilders use reducing f lame welding torch.
Thank You Chad and Jolene for making this video. Thank You for sharing your knowledge which is invaluable to the hobbyist even the professional. Your honesty is gratefully appreciated.
You are the best, I hope you could edit your videos into Spanish or in any case subtitle them, just like watching you work makes some get excited !!! Eres el mejor, ojala pudieras editar tus videos al español o en todo caso subtitularlos, igual solo verte trabajar hace que uno se emocione!!!
all these drug comments dude had a hard ride admits it. this dude can do shit no one else can or is willing to even try with limited tools. badass in my book
Chad Hiltz’ fiancé, Jolene, is absolutely gorgeous. Chad’s one very gifted fabricator/ builder up here in Nova Scotia. His builds are definitely eccentric and one of a kind. Continued success with the your shop and your TV Show on Discovery Channel.....congrats brother!
I feel the headlight surrounds would fit the lines of the car better if it was to be a more teardrop shape. It looks odd from an angle, like two pipes sticking out. Bloke got skills tho, missus better be happy. Also, it baffles my mind you guys still use inches n fractions for measuring.
Refreshing to see a guy explain what he is doing, and tips on how he is doing it.The guy is teaching!!!Most RUclips vids on car building just show sped up clips with zero details of the process!!!This dude is a bawssss!!!
I love this guy man he reminds me of a certain someone lol very cool seeing his way of building things my Father is the one who told me of bad chad and I’ve actually found a lot of educational stuff out of this guys videos
Don’t stress on video time, I could watch this shit all day! I can drawl your car but could never bring it to life like you can… Your a true artist! Your hilarious and unique to boot! Keep it up brother…👍
Dude, I was today years old when I found out you're in Nova Scotia! I live on PEI and I think your work is amazing! Keep building buddy, you are a rare breed
Figure out the size of your metal & cut it before you roll it.more precise & faster in the long run.use shirt cardboard as you're template.no mistakes!!
Great video! Awesome projects! Im not sure if you are the type to answer a quick question from viewers or not, but I have one, if you would be so kind to provide an answer.....What kind of rear suspension does this car have? Coil spring, leaf springs, or torsion bars, or some other style?
Been watching all the videos good stuff brother keep updating with the projects out here from Indiana USA. Need more video's of the cars you already have built thumbs up from me and sub..
People that make all these rude comments your parents must taught you don't speak on no one in less you know them .And you must of had not felt that belt on your ass when you was kid because if you did you show some respect.
I Love the Project, I love the work! Really cool. But it's kind of hard. listening to you talking... Sorry, just saying. By the way, burning Midnight Oil in sunlight...
Everyone who is dissing him well check this he’s had one of his cars featured at Sema Car show. Also has an upcoming tv show on Discovery. How he talks well that’s how east coaster talk and sound like.

Love the builds man! I can’t imagine what you could build if you had a massive shop with every tool under the sun. Your craftsmanship, creativity and ingenuity are superb! Can’t wait to see the next season of your show on Discovery. It’s rad that you actually show how you build things, most craftsman would never share their specific techniques. Keep up the awesome work!!!
Probably the most impressive reproduction of a famous classic I've ever seen and this isn't the first time I've watched one of these coming into existence. The other was an accurate copy, this one has the feeling in bucket loads.
Have you lost the plot? Why would you build a $40 million bugatti for your missus? What happens when you build it and then she leaves you. You have just lost all that money and all the hard work.
Hey, CONGRATS on your Disc. Chan. success! hey, I thought choppin a 62 chev panel was tough, but the Goblin? sheeeeet, you have mad skills brother! hey, Take a moment and breathe....You have arrived...and you deserve all the kudo's Chad!!...Peace, Tommy in Minnesota

Your right, this guy is the genius, educated idiots from university’s would be incapable of engineering art like this.
He is for sure a innovative fabricator I love watching him work his show and wheeler dealers are my fav car shows to watch and roadkill although I don't consider them in the same ball park lol but tony Angelo built that bad ass twin engine impala or SS

There are so many channels with 'real guy and his crew working on real rides'. Nothing special about this channel.
I found him on tv and can not get enough! He is a true artist, engineer, designer! Unbelievable talent.
Measure in millimeters its way easier to divide those numbers vs fractions. Love your shit bud!
Thanks Bad Chad! Your style of teaching is appreciated. Keep going man.
I was part of the group that restored the 57sc atlantic back in 2003. It was worth about $1 million then. I can't believe how much it auctioned for. This thing looks sweet though.

I don't know anybody who can build a Bugatti Aerolithe from scratch.
It takes serious balls to build a Bugatti from scratch. Rock on.

You give a wife a car. You give a girlfriend a bracelet.

I hope you come back on Discovery in the Netherlands for a third season soon :-)
to divide a fraction in half, just double the Bottom number-- 3/4 is 3/8 ... 3/8 is 3/16 and so forth 1/2 is 1/4....
Figure out the size of your metal & cut it before you roll it.more precise & faster in the long run.use shirt cardboard as you're template.no mistakes!!
You have mad skills Sir!
Are the front fenders suppose to be leaning inward like that? and not straight like every other fender? Just wondering, otherwise great video!!
Your work is absolutely fucking fantastic!!! Keep that shit up and for fuck sales charge more money. You are worth way more.
Great job Chad and thanks for all of the tips .....your fan from Texas

half of 21 3/8= half of 21 which =10 1/2 + half of 3/8 =3/16......10 1/2 = 10 8/16 + 3/16= 10 11/16"...grins...love the air gun tip thanks

I live near Gene Winfield, that guy is a legend.
It it better to use a grinder than a torch or a plasma cutter?
Probably the most impressive reproduction of a famous classic I've ever seen and this isn't the first time I've watched one of these coming into existence. The other was an accurate copy, this one has the feeling in bucket loads.

What motor you going to put in it? I nice 302 like the blower one you built on the show. Or a 2jz would fit nice.
The way you say CAR makes me smile 😂😂😂👌
There are a few of us that have used coat hangers before
