Thank you so much !!! This is a bass line I've loved from being a kid (now 56) never thought I could get anywhere close to it but youve gifted that to me :o) Great tutorials and a dedicated new subsciber on the way !!!
Very helpful. I'm filling in for a band tonight and this is on the set list and I've never played it before. This was exactly what I needed to get a quick rundown of this rather unconventional bassline. thank you!
Great job Dave, I'd almost would say you are left handed playing right because of your technique with the fingerboard. I'd hire you in the spot because of the faces you make when playing.
@@classicbasslines Not ackward at all, I said it as a complement. I am a lefty playing righty and doing complicated patterns in the beggining was much easier than expected.
Absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t help laughing at the fact you naturally play with your mouth open and so had to make an effort to keep it closed. I have to do the same with my tongue, virtually impossible to keep in my mouth while I play. Great video man.
THANK YOU! That one has always challenged me. Until now...
Great tutorial...any more Bruce Thomas brilliance welcomed.
I was reeled in on the anticipation for the Bridge! Impeccable timing. 👍
lol ty 🙏🏻
Absolutely glorious bass playing on This Years Model and Armed Forces albums
Yeah, it's really special. There will be some of those lines on here in the future!
Love your way of teaching, instant sub! Thank you

Lol thank you. The hardest part about playing bass is trying to look normal!
@@classicbasslines I fully agree. And you don’t generally get bad musicians doing it so it’s definitely a positive.
Excellent, thank you!
