Thank you so much for my amazing GCSE results today! Since the middle of Y10 I have been watching your videos consistently to get tips on studying for my GCSEs. And out of a lot of study RUclipsrs, you have genuinely given me and many others the best advice for studying efficiently and focussing on your lifestyle outside studying as well. I would have never heard about the 80-20 rule, how to make flashcards properly and treating every subject differently without your advice. Your videos have also served as one of my main motivating factors during GCSEs and I would regularly watch your videos when I felt like procrastinating. I have used a lot of your tips in my revision to study efficiently and helped me to realise how important sleep, diet and exercise are in contributing to revision. Your advice on flashcards, revision timetables and the best time to revise was invaluable and helped me refine my revision to achieve the top grades. Overall, I really appreciate all the advice you’re giving to many students like me and I will stay subscribed as a result. I look forward to watching your videos during A-Levels. Keep up the good work Shiggs!
@@shiggs33 I'm going into Y10 at the end of the summer. Lots of your videos are about cramming information and less about long-term studying, but you have inspired me to uninstall my games and social media on my phone. But, I would like you to explain the ideal way to study if you have time like me. I understand that lots of your viewers are in Y11, so your content is oriented around that, but It would still help to have a general guide on how to study in order to remember it for the long-term
thank you so much for the advice! im gonna utilise this for the rest of the summer cause I started making flashcards at the starting while revising a little bit per day.
relaxing, enjoying your time, spend time with family, develop better habits, spend time with friends, learn how to drive (if u want), go on holiday if u can and want to. Towards the end though like last 2-3 weeks prepare a bit ahead for a levels spend like 3-4 hrs a week at most.
Thanks for the video Bro. Just wanted to ask how should upcoming year 12 start revising for A level's if we don't know if we reached the requirement's for the specific subject?
Hi can somebody please help me, i didn't take Additional maths in 10th grade, I'm taking maths in A levels, can I still have a good grade in that subject?
personally, I have no problem with how fast he's speaking. But I recommend you turn on subtitles, if you're struggling and don't want to slow down the playback speed

What do you think someone who just finished GCSEs should be doing to spend their summer the best way possible?

can you slow down your speaking rate ... don't mind it . i cannot listen you properly ... i am sorry if i am false or if hurts you
You could reduce the playback speed to .75, it makes it somewhat slower.
personally, I have no problem with how fast he's speaking. But I recommend you turn on subtitles, if you're struggling and don't want to slow down the playback speed
My only problem is I don’t know what content to revise as surely revising the whole past year is a waste of time?
its not, revise everything listed in the specification of ur exam board.
