I commend you for adding to the overall knowledge/experience about this engine and welder online. Good job going after the fuses first as an easy fix. I'm working on my SA 200 (with over 7K hrs.). It's a way simpler machine, and there's a ton of stuff online to help me. Anyways, glad to see you putting this info out there to hopefully help some folks that have this unit. I'm sure that it still has plenty of life left in it yet to come, and it will be awesome once it's fixed! Aloha!

Awesome video, thank you ! 👍 We had 2ea. older Trailblazer 325s, each on an F-350 flatbed. Those units ran forever, for any duties including thawing underground plumbing and electrical conduits. Best to you in all endeavors 👍👍🌹

If a fuse is white not clear it's usually a slow-blow fuse. If you put a regular fuse in it's place it may immediately blow. It's something I found out the hard way. @Chickanic has a lot of good small engine videos.

Tbh I'd have ripped that old 20hp onan and replaced it with a modern Honda twin. Those old onans when you get them right are good but the Hondas all you have to do is check oil.

Have you contacted Miller support? We have a shop local that's a authorized Miller repair center. Just a thought. As far as the engine. It's a common engine used on all sorts of things. Not just your welder

@@johnivill1974 ive called miller, and got hung up on, along with any other places that have onan engines, they either don’t supply them anymore or work on them, it’s really difficult to find places that will work on an onan engine, especially in the state of California trying to cancel out emissions
