I heard he now is an "ex-vangelical". Pity.

I'm so very thankful to my parent for leading me to him. It was God's infinite unconditional love that pulled me through the darkest of times. I'm so grateful and humbled that he loved me despite my many flaws. Enough that he wants me to live with him forever. Those of all his children, are truly blessed more than we'll ever really know. I'm so proud to be his daughter, and say he's my father for always.

Once I realized I was drowning. Once I realized that when I came out of the water to get air that I was getting less air every time I was coming up, then I understood that I was going to die. I gave in. Not gave up. I came to the realization that I am not in ultimate control of my life. In a moment, my life began to flash before my eyes. Meaning that memories that were stored in my brain came to me in still pictures. The most joyous and happy times of my life came back to me in picture after picture after picture of each event. I was downloaded with snapshots of events of my life that brought me great joy that happened in milliseconds. At that moment, i had peace. I could just let go, and it was okay. It was beautiful. The end of my life. But as I was downloaded this I came to the conclusion that I was not ready to say goodbye to those people in those photographs and those pictures. So I decided to fight. I went up into the air screaming my head off. It wasn't logical. Because I already knew that if I went up out of the water into the air I didn't even have enough time to breathe. Much less scream and lose all of my air. But that is exactly what I did. I screamed. Went Back Down. Came up. Screamed. This repeated for moments. Then a stranger grabbed a hold of me and pulled me to the shore. Then when I looked for him he was gone. I was safe. Either way, I knew that I was safe. Even in dire circumstances I was safe. So I can ask you to move forward. Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid. For God is with you. Things that you did not know possible will come to you. Just as it did me. Let me know if this helps.
