Very thought-provoking and powerful. The most important part (for me) was to recognize that I, and ALL others, are inherently GOOD. Those are the best healing words I know of. Pass this on.

Need accountability laid on offenders in these topics I feel, instead of dancing around the ugly part of the conversations. Of course we heal ourselves and need accountability to make /allow that to happen. And not address predators at the same time alienates the ones who just happened to be the one(s) they offend. Hence, predators Love hiding behind the concept of the ones they offend are responsible and take responsibility for all of it. That is how predators hear that, I have worked in the field and experienced it personally and that is what comes out of their mouths. Just shedding some like on parts that go unaddressed and predators twist in their favor. Like the pedaphile who tells the child "WE had a special kind of love" as their excuse for abusing.

Offenders seem to always get off the hook with this concept. Which is why it perpetuates in our world. Why does this thought process always back predators in

God is more interested in heaing the wounds people suffered as He recognizes those are the things that caused people to lose confidence in themselves, other's and or Him.
Helping people know how to combat the lies they believe or came to believe due to those circumstances and situations and recognizing things they came to believe is the beginning of discovering who you were created to be.
The enemy present a half truth, a partial truth and in being aware of the half truth God desires for us to know how to combat that lie.
For example: you are strugglng and hurting and have been for sometime and you are alone and no one seems to care. You become convinced no one cares.
God says: some people don't care and some people know you are struggling and this has convinced you no one seems to care. But some people do care and you can't see that right now. And some people don't know what to do or say and stay away.
No one understands: God says: some people don't understand and many people don't share their struggles because when they did they got hurt. And even though I am with you and will never leave or forsake your circumstances and situations often cause people to believe I also have abandoned them.
The enemy tells us or when we think no one has gone through or feels the way you do. God says: people don't often share their feelngs and thoughts so the opportunity to connect and identify leave people feeling and thinking no one understands and or haven't experienced the things they have.
God says: some people have not gone through or experienced some of the things people have or that you have but many people through circumstances and situations in their lives came to think and feel many of the things others do although for their circumstances and situations may be different.
Sharing our feelings and thoughts provide opportunity for connection and empathy.
Unresolved pain can cause people to believe half truths spewed by the enemy or grant us opportunity to recognize how we feel or think or what we need and what is missing and recognizing feelings are neither right or wrong often times the natural response to a given set of circumstances or situation and recognizng similar circumstances and or situations can tap deeper wounds that laid dormant and recognizing the natural response is regarding the present situation doesn't dismiss the natural response but may have tapped a deeper wound where we may have been told you shouldn't feel that way, or were made feel because of how you felt something was wrong with you, or being told or believing Christians shouldn't feel that way, forgive and forget, your living in the past etc. Maybe you were told you were crazy because people didn't understand thinking and believing they did.
Praying draw Your Servant in Jesus name and not recognizing the person or avenue He uses in the absence of a person. Recognizing the avenues He uses to bring a person to places of healing and restoring. Recognizing the avenues He uses for a time while a person heals understanding all avenues and any avenue in restoring allows people to walk away with the ability to feel independent not that bad things won't happen but are able to recognize help God provides at those times. Recognizing any door or avenue that elimates or becomes a substitute in recognizing ones own part opens opportunity for growth and freedom.
Just as if Church becomes or eliminates or becomes a substitue for a persons daily relationship will often leave them missing opportunities for God to minister and speak to them in understanding they may need.
God has put knowledge about Himself inside each one of us, but sometimes we can see Him best in others.
To say that we " we came to believe" in anything describes a process. Belief is the result of consideration, doubt, reasoning and concluding. Forming beliefs shows marks of God's image in our lives. It involves emotion and our mind. It leads to actions that transform.
We start with our own experience. We see what doesn't work and recognizing there isn't enough power in ourselves to restore us to the places of rest and peace we long for. " When we're quiet enough to listen, we hear that still small voice inside us saying and confirming God is real and there is a God and He's extremely powerful in love. We know the truth about God because He has made it obvious to them. (Romans 1:19).
After looking at our internal weaknesses, then we need to look outside ourselves. We need to see that there are others who have struggled with the same things and recovered. We can see that they, too, we're unable to heal themselves, yet they are able to live free.
Hebrews 11:6 tells us "anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him." If we see God as one waiting for us, we will be more eager to see Him. Faith is a gift so even if one's faith has not matured to that point yet, we can ask Him for help telling Him we are willing to believe but don't know how.
There was a man in scripture who approached Jesus asking Him to help his son who was afflicted. He said to Jesus "'Have mercy on us and help us if You can' 'What do you mean, "If I can"? Jesus asked. 'Anything is possible if a person believed." The father cried out instantly, 'I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!" (Mark 9:22-24).
We can start by asking God to help us to have more faith. Then we can ask Him for the inner courage from Him to hope for a better future.
In my personal experience my faith increases in His ability to show me speak to me and heal within me my heart, body, soul ( which consists of my mind and emotions) and spirit.
It was in recognizing I was trying to change myself and beginning to pray Lord, I believe help my unbelief. As He explained to me unbelief is not disbelief but sorrow and pain and confusion I had regarding circumstances and situations I faced in my life that He knew affected my ability to see myself, Him or others.
I have since learned in feeding The right things into my spirit understanding it is His ability that transforms me with His love and understanding in the things in my life I now pray, Lord, I do believe continue to help me overcome my unbelief.
Recovery/ healing; wholeness/ holiness is the beginning of restoration.
The apostle Paul wrote about the value of people helping people. He instructed, if someone "is overcome, you who are Godly should gently and humbly help that person back into the right path. This is the work of the Holy Spirit where He will always and forever be there to guide lead and direct but He also puts people in the path with understanding that is beneficial for others.
Paul was calling to mind a picture of people lifting up and carrying a person who had been injured. It implies that they will continue to uphold the suffering person until the injury has had time to heal.
We can't recover all alone any more than someone with a broken leg can heal properly while walking around without any support.
We need support from people who are willing to gently bear us up and walk beside us until we've had time to heal.
And the beautiful thing is if there be no one Jesus Himself will come and search for those who are broken and became lost and I continue pray that she by His Spirit will fulfill Ezekiel 34:11-16 for those He sees that are in need.
Many who have lived with addictions struggle with inner guilt. One may conclude that God is against them and/or that they are against Him. Ones fear of rejection, coupled with the fear of having ti give up something that a person believed helped them cope, can cause people to distance themselves from God. When this happens, our mind becomes confused. A person may begin to make a list of all the things they need to do in order to come to God. This list usually describes a person's version of whatnot means to be "good enough." and in our minds, it often disqualifies us from hope having a loving relationship with God.
In understanding the mind God has shown me that I may not be conscious of a way I think etc. but He is aware. Now His awareness is in understanding people and why they do the things they do etc.
So sometimes our struggle is inner what we came to believe and / or accept due to circumstances and situations in our own particular life. See this is the beauty of God, His Son and the Holy Spirit They each offer Themselves in guiding leading and directing us into fuller truths of the Father Son and Holy Spirit.
In my own life due to circumstances and situations and seeking I learned I was unaware that I thought God gave up on me, and a fee years back I went to Him and told Him God I don't understand I know You exist You have shown me that beyond a doubt and I know You can transform people but inside I am not being transformed I don't understand. He gently told me although I believed for others the circumstances and situations in my life and the pain inside had weighed me down from experiencing a relationship with Him.
So I went to Him and told Him honestly how I felt I was wiling to believe He could heal and transform me inwardly but no longer knew how. And He leads me to pray Lord I believe continue to help my unbelief. In any struggle of have now I ask the Holy Spirit to intercede on my behalf and on behalf of all and any other that through circumstances and situations that He knows became lost for a time drawing them to understanding and love from Him that they need personally so they can walk in the freedoms He has desired all along.
