I might have to try Athena. Lately, the Billie had been irritating my legs and the shave doesn't seem as good as a few months ago when I started using Billie. Also, the holder stuck to my shower for 3 days before it fell off and it wouldn't stick anymore.
Does anyone know if the Athena razor would fit in the Billie travel case just wondering. Since Athens hasn’t come out with a travel case yet for theirs
I ordered a Billie razor kit yesterday and am so excited to get it. I've watched all your reviews on these. I think I made a good decision. Athena club seems a little more expensive to me. I would like to try it but wanted to wet my feet with Billie. A lot of the Flamingo comments on their ig are of women saying they hate the razor due to razor burn. I think that Billie is straight to the point.
Just an update! I tried Athena Club and LOVE the shave their razor gave me. I will not be continuing my subscription to Billie. The quality totally blows Billie away.
I have used both and prefer the Billie line because of the better moisturizing blade also. I also like the Billie shaving products better. I like the fragrance better and I found the Athena shaving cream irritating and the shower gel too thick.
The deodorant also has aluminum in it. That’s not good for us but I haven’t found anything that works that’s aluminum free lol. I don’t ever really sweat and the lume deodorant made me sweat it was so weird lol. I use mens degree deodorant and I love it and it works the best
One other thing that's great about Athena Club is that they have up to a 9-month subscription option for the razors so that means fewer shipments and packaging waste.
Omg I randomly got irritated from the Schmitt’s (that I’ve been using for years) one day, too. I think that it is actually an intolerance to one of the essential oils. Bodies can apparently do that when overexposed to them. So sad. 😭
Honestly both! As long as I have the razor heads available, I truly enjoy both lines! I have way more Billie heads on backup because I’ve been a member longer, though.
It's hard to place my finger on what the scent actually is! It's very faint and is what I would describe as earthy. I believe they have the scent notes on their site that may give you a more accurate description. It does absorb completely!
The Billie razor was a f*cking waste of money. I can't believe I bought that sh*t. Honestly though, I think it's only for a certain.. a certain type of woman, if you know what I mean. My body hair is more kinky and thick so it just didn't work for me personally

Athena is my favorite by far. I didn’t like Dollarshave Club, Billie and Flamingo was better than both - but Athena is a whole new level.
Yeah, I definitely wasn't a fan of the Dollar Shave Club or Billie. But I hated DSC more lmao smh

i actually really like both. i love the packaging i received in athena but it seemed a lot more wasteful compared to billie.
