This was my first festival EVER and I was working behind stage as a Medic. I got to meet Corey Taylor and Jacobi Shaddix on the same day. It was incredible. Such an amazing line up. That entire weekend was pure energy!!

Yes it was. Everything was spot on for a unique festival experience back here in 2006:-
The line up was incredible, first and foremost. Actually once in a lifetime good. So many stellar bands and performances!
The weather was amazing, not a drop of rain until the Monday morning when we were packing up!
The sideshows were totally cool, ie the skating/BMX displays and Aftershock Arena etc!
The vibe was surreal and you could feel it, this festival had a soul!
Not to mention all the free Snickers bars!
I last went to Download in 2010 and it was brilliant as ever, but not out of this world good like 2006!
Anyone who attended this festival has well and truly lived and should feel exalted/privileged!

Harrison Bowman down hill like music wise, they can be very successful but the music they’re making is extremely bad

I wish he would go back to this vocal style. A mix of the high screech and his low belows. All of the songs worked with it. Songs like Orchids stayed the same and Inhale was changed in places to be just right

While the high pitched screamed vocals sound really good, it's what almost ruined his vocal chords, and the way he screamed in slipknot at the time didn't help either.
@@HarrisonBowman That isn t true , actually high pitch screams are really good for the vocal chords, and he uses them because he almost lost his voice in the iowa era.Also this is why his voice came back in al hope is gone.
@@ionutbitea4242 Good for the vocal chords isn't exactly what I'd call it, better for the vocal chords than other screams maybe, but not good for the vocal chords. If you watch his earlier stone sour performances you'll notice how much he did the high pitched screams on certain songs, in later performances of those same songs he doesn't do it anymore.

i will remember it as the song when i got to touch coreys chest and arm XD when i saw him live in december and at the end of the song after the solo he jumped infront of the crowd i was in in the first row my face was on his stomach because everyone just pressed me XD
