That ONE DDS Blue Eyes is about 95% of my tuition in grad school. For one semester, full time classes (3 classes min). Insane to put it in that perspective.

A couple years ago I had a DDS blue eyes pristine 10 graded by BGS though.... ended up having to sell off most of my collection so I ended up selling it for $2,000. Seeing this makes me miss the collecting days!
Back in the day people laughed at me when I got a DDS Dark Magician in a trade. "Why do you need that card it's just a Dark Magician." Make me laugh every time I think about it.

@@Ganbakodon Well that's just not correct. The DDS Dark Magician is extremely rare. The card comes from a Game Boy game and the game has two releases with different promo cards. Also a lot of people that owned it back in the day did not play with sleeves or even play the game so it's very condition sensitive. I also looked up the listing on several sites like Card Market, ebay and troll and toad. The lowest selling on Card Market was 120 euto or 135 us dollars and that one was a scam as it was a banged up DDY (be careful with deals like this if it sounds to good to be true it's usually not and some people will scam yyou without a second thought) the first real one was in good condition and was listed at 550 euro or roughly 620 us dollars. On Troll and Toad it's at 480 and on ebay it's around 600 for one with a few dings on the edges and one for 1,400 dollars that is graded 9,5 but it's BGS grading and it's slightly off centered.
So the one you have seen is A a scam. B someone who has no idea what that card is. C someone who need money ASAP or D it's in very poor condition. If you can get a good condition DDS for 250 dollars do it but be careful.
In the end the card is in such short supply that it's value is determined by the seller and the buyer. For me the card's value is not financial. I don't look at the cards that way. If I did I'd have soled my 1st ed Stardust Dragon ghost rare a long time ago.

This has to be one of the best and coolest openings on your channel. I am a collector of Yugioh myself and the whole Kaiba’s Briefcase idea is honesty one of the coolest Yugioh openings I’ve seen in years. That Briefcase idea is extremely epic and I like that idea.

Watching this took me back. I used to have a pretty crazy collection when I was younger. I collected from the early 2000s to 2015. E hero’s we’re my absolute favorites. Sadly my house burned down and I ended up losing them..

which one of "that" did you have? according to me, i value the DDS way more than the SDK Blueeyes. back in the day if you wanted the SDK Blue-eyes, you visit the corner store. & if you wanted the DDS Blue-eyes you go to a certain store, with limited amounts of the DarkDuelistStories game being sold, & the hardest to obtain would be the LOB Blue-eyes. You could've spent upwards of a hundred dollars & not get a Blue-eyes, let alone a handful of holos
19:07 I remember going to a used bookstore that also sold used games and finding a sealed Duelist Rose GBA game with promo cards. With tax, the total came to $10.

Actually, DDS has two runs. First run has BEWD, DM and Exodia's Head. Runs after that had the other promos no one wanted. So check the back of the box if such items are there.

I would love to see PSA graded card returns. I collect comic books, and get them graded from CGC from time to time. It’s awesome to have collectibles sealed up in the professional manner that PSA and CGC present then in.

I had three of those 1st Edition SDK-001 Blue Eyes that I found in my attic. They weren’t grade but were in pretty good condition, no warps or damaged edges. Sold them on eBay as a $10 lot. RIP

whats funny is i still remember 02, everyone had the starter decks. that blue eyes holo is either from the original base starter deck or kaibas (there was yugis and pegasus as an option too) every starter had a few automatic holos. crazy how a guranteed holo is worth 2k now. insane lol.

Well, that's PSA 10. A normal sdk is about 20 bucks (unlimited) and from 50 to 100 bucks for 1st ed

That printing of hamon is worth about $1, not $40. That proto cyber dragon is a $0.75 card, not $30. These are mistakes that anybody with a passing familiarity with dealing in yugioh cards would not make after their first day

Look for Sold Auction Listings on different websites, these Blue-Eyes White Dragons have a VERY HIGH Demand. This is why they become so pricey!

That last card is honestly pretty heartbreaking for me.
I had gotten the Dark Duel Stories GBC game when I was about 11. I had all three, Dark Magician, Exodia, and Blue-Eyes. The cards ended up being stolen from me by a kid at a Toys R Us Yugioh event. If only 11 year old me had realized those cards would have so much value.
Kaiba never used sleeved cards and later smashed them in some duel disks and still have psa 10 cards , woho!
I usually collect graded 7-10 PSA cards. Usually mostly unlimited. Happy Middle on the price and still getting a quality card.
