Venao and pedasi are too remote for my liking. having to go to las tablas or chitre is a a drag. My happy place is also a small comunity where the beaches are 10 mins away along with major stores. Also far cheaper than a rip off tourist trap like venao. 2 bed house -- $200 a month, inc garbage and water. Elec about $20-25. fast internet $48. food and meds around $300. Easy single living for under $600, excess goes into savings for emergencies. 2hrs bus ride to the city.
Thanks for sharing. I would like to see more content on your life in Spain. I was offered a teaching job years ago in Panama when I was younger. I turned it down because of the heat and humidity. It is a very nice country. But from I arrived and walked towards the airport terminal, I was soaking wet in my clothes. I stayed at a friend' s house and I just could not keep my hair dry because my friend had fans that were blowing hot air. Now I am retiring soon and I am very interested to see how people of color are treated in Spain because I am considering doing a scouting trip there. I wish you the best and be safe.
yes, Panama is hot. I'd often had to carry two shirts with me because I'd sweat through one. Thanks for watching and yes I will be uploading more my experiences in Spain. Overall I've been treated very well but I think it has to do with number of factors. But I'm working in content to go into more detail. Right now I have a few videos up on my general experience in Spain. Stay tuned
Great video!! I enjoy smaller towns that are still fairly modern with easy access to things I like and need. More cost of living videos would be great to see. Thanks!!!
I love the beach too...that is why I had moved to Cartagena, Colombia. However, I want to explore other places like Panama and even Ecuador, if the problems have subsided, and just travel throughout Latin America.
Living in Wisconsin unfortunately is very prejudice so I would love to escape but living in a more predominantly black community. Can you do a video on the best, safest, low cost of living neighbors in Charlotte and Greensboro, NC
Sorry to hear you have to deal with it prejudice where you live. I hope you live in a place where you feel safe. I don't have a lot of experience or knowledge on living in neighborhoods ins Charlotte and Greensboro so I'm not sure if I could do a video on those topics. Have you tried researching black neighborhoods in those areas?
be sure to review the list of jobs, professions, etc. that you are not allowed to engage in as an immigrant. to do so could get you excused from this beautiful place. Venao is small because it's an expensive tourist town, and renown as top beach for professional surf tournaments in Latin America.

Amazing find. So glad you found your happy place
Where is this haven? I’m headed to Panama City in September for a 3-month look-see. I currently live in California.

Does that small town has a name. I'd like to know it please
Of course. Play Venao is the town. Near by is also a cute little town called Pedasi
@@KierstenBrown101 Thanks for responding. I heard of Pedasi but never heard about Play Venao. I will research it. Thanks again.
