I know. No circles, no four spiritual laws, just Jesus connecting with one of His own.

I get what he is saying... I can feel God's presence when I paint sometimes. Sometimes my brushstrokes are prayers and paint becomes tears staining the page.
You're most likely hallucinating, because you were raised on one particular monotheistic Mythology. Please try to understand that it matters what we believe is real or not, and how we determine that.

I definitely feel close to God when I paint, and especially when I'm getting inspired to paint. I most often paint His beautiful creation and I feel so privileged to get to do it.
@@lukekeene881 Absolutely it is a good thing to draw animals and still life. Acknowledge Jesus as you are painting and see what He speaks to you. Ask Him what He thinks of the creature and things you are painting, what He thinks of your artistic interpretation, and things like that. he wants to join us as we create. I even dedicate each art piece to God and His kingdom for His use. The first words in the bible are: In the beginning, God created.... and it also says we are made in His image. We are so connected with God when we are also creating, I hope this encourages you!

Your story is like water for my soul... I often feel very alone in my faith that Jesus has not only died for me but has led me to connect with Him through creativity. Of course being connected to Him in the midst of it is wonderful... but to try to explain it to others and share it with other humans feels lonely and misunderstood. But as I watch you talk about it, I am just incredibly happy for you and for me!
Lori Morris Paintings i can’t agree with this anymore. The way that I explain my ideas and the way I interpret God’s message with my father, he just sometimes doesn’t get it. There’s a side to artists’ hearts that’s unlocked that many others can’t. So it gets lonely. I feel as if I share what God has spoken to me about various things, people wouldn’t get it.
@@iamizaiahtoo Since I wrote those words nine months ago, things have changed for me. I have been compelled to tell more people about my connection with Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit and how connected they are to my art. I keep finding myself telling people even if I think they won't understand and I'm surprised at how well received I have been. I encourage you to push through the doubts and share your faith and what God has spoken to you . People need to know.

Wow, back when I was apostate, I think the Lord put it in my heart to pursue Art. Eventually, I grew spending so much time on it and it's been keeping me away from living into perdition. Overtime I pursued God telling how much I was sorry for turning my back on him, with tears in my eyes day after day and his sweet love came back to me and it's as if life has been breathed into me. He sent me a signs and even a miracle to show he was there for me. God is Great!

I saw this amazing man in a documentary about Mark Rothko. He spoke of Rothko's work in a way that was so beautiful, loving, and had a depth I do not experience very often. Amazing person.

Jesus, God through calling Jesus speaking to the holy spirit, wow...all my most beautiful love, all my most deep felt truths and all my most touching sensitivity: it comes from him, Jesus!!! God you are beyond all I could ever expect, you are my greatest love, let me never forget. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, we carry you in our hearts and thoughts, amen!
The most intentional art glorifies God the most! When we are most intentional in bringing glory to our Lord, we are getting busy with the things we are going to be doing in heaven.

This pretty much sums up why I am an artist. I feel incredibly connected to God when drawing or painting, like I've tapped into Him Who created Heaven and Earth and He is working through me, and I'm just the pencil or the brush.

Jesus was, is and will be God is correct
"Jesus was, is and will be God." I'll never understand this kind of thinking! God is, was and ever will be God, without and without Jesus. Jesus is part of God, but so are kazillions of souls. Jesus speaks well on behalf of Truth, as Truth. Fine. But where is this need to find an 'interim form' of God, when God already is everywhere, as Love Itself, all the time? And this obsession with "death"?? What is this? What I get from Jesus' "death" is that death is transitory, like weather; that we go through the door of "death" and live on. Death would be a luxury for many, but it can't be found. The reduction of a body to dust isn't the end of life or the soul-self that attended that form. The death of Jesus was a sad thing, but his demonstrations of his own continuing thereafter expresses that Life goes on. Jesus didn't "die for me". He died because he made the powers of his time nervous, and they executed his body. He lived to teach Truth, and did so. His resurrection, transcendence of seeming 'death', were a wonderful demonstration of truth, that we are not bodies, but spirits. You can read about the truth of all of this in " Jesus My Autobiography". Or in his " A Course in Miracles". Or in his "A Course of Love". Or in his "The Way of Mastery". He is alive and well and is holy and true, but he is not to be confined by popular Christianity, that tells people he is the one and only Truth. Be open to what he is now doing. I like William Blake. I can't believe he bought that vicarious atonement stuff! I don't really think he did.
I'm so sorry, but the character Jesus was most likely invented by Roman Caesars, as there are a few other older Mythologies with nearly identical stories, assertions, and super powers.
There are also very probably no gods, existence is entirely consistent with what it would be like, with no gods, and there's no valid evidence or argument for assuming they're even likely.
Please try to understand that it matters what we believe is real or not, and how we determine that.

Ok, so because people reading my comment might confuse hating a con, with hating the conned, I'm somehow doing something wrong? Hating religious people is ridiculous, it's hating victims. I'm actually one of the few people I know who understands that we cannot blame Jehovah's witnesses for coming to our doors, we cannot blame people for lusting for Armageddon, and we cannot blame parents who faith heal, or drown their kids to "be with Jesus", when ignorant fools like you, throw people like me under the bus for stating facts, and for insisting the we all try to have high standards of evidence, and understand that our claims have consequences.
You're not cute lglp3, typical moderate on faith based claims. People like you pretty much say "It's ok to believe what ever you want, it's just not ok to ACT like ..you believe it". Meanwhile you probably understand that people who make false claims about vaccines cause needless death and suffering, but somehow don't see the connection between condoning the claims of our Mythology with the hundreds of children who die from faith healing a year, in the USA alone.
