The first thing I did to mine was update the wheel and tires. 20x9 wheels on 33.3 x 12.5 tires. My setup up is aggressive, and I think 35's are too big for the Ranger Raptor!
I agree, its what makes me think a Colorado ZR2 a little bit better of a buy, if you don't care about trying to the get to 60 the quickest. More ground clearance, better tires. Less headache as far as having to "Buy this extra stuff" just to be ready for the trails you want to hit. And not only that, yes driver aides are fantastic, but not if they're going to disable the powertrain should something "Electronic" go wrong with it. This era of Big screens... theyre all just copying Tesla. And they shouldn't do that. Audi has a little small screen that does everything I need it to do. I don't need this gnarly Blue Light Screen in my face all the time if my Attention is supposed to be on the road.
I see that Shelby, clearly a man of taste 😋 We have a Braptor and a GT350, we’re a Fore family now I guess. The Ranger has the same motor and transmission but I feel like the Bronco platform is a lot more usable and better for off-roading especially with the stock 37s but at the end of the day it’s almost double of a Ranger Raptor. I’m just glad all of these cars exist
I agree that ford should have at least given it an option to run 35’s. I had to trim a little on the front to clear a 37, but the truck is amazing on 37’s with the Ford Performance tune!
@@DavidFigs portals…you really can’t change the suspension without loosing live valve which in turn makes you lose all drive modes. I don’t see a move to 35’s happening from ford any time soon. They physically won’t fit the fenders in the front without a design change. It was a big miss by ford IMO and one that many racers warned them about to no avail.
Oh makes sense, also badass. That's interesting, I don't know enough but gen 3s were 35s stock and 37s option, curious if that required a redesign or made by design. If it requires a redesign that's disappointing and a mis for sure.
Why can't people just get to the point

My man. Great setup and I would agree. Might be planting seeds to convince my wife to add a bronco 🤘
Really interested in what you got out of it when sold
What dealership to you go though to buy it?
seriously? watch the video... Lol

I'm assuming you upgraded other suspension components or regeared to run 37s?
My gut says MY26s will get a 35" package

Did you sell privately or via dealer/carvana type deal?
Sold to a dealer but went through a few to get the best deal.
were you financing your Ranger Raptor?
Is it so much expensive to own?
Not really, it's just a $60k truck to start
Yours was a great color
Step up to a zr2
You mean step down to a 4 cylinder
😂
Just tell the truth! You sold it for profit, right?
😂
