A advice from someone who had damas: No they don’t take the shine away at the end of the day you’re the one everyone knows & the one with the huge dress on that outshines everyone in the party. Get trustful girls my girls didn’t have a problem with that I had and told me it was my day so it was really all up to me. I was the one with the final word on everything and they went along with it so just go with people you can trust :) my quince was on February 1st 2020 so yes I know how girls are these days

I personally practiced 2months with my court 1 1/2 hrs. We did a vals and a Folklorico surprise dance. We all already dance in the same team so we pick up choreography quickly. If you don't know how long it'll take to pick up choreography 2-4 months 😁

I personally don’t think there’s a certain amount of time to plan before the date. i planned mine in less than 2 months and it was perfect to me. it just depends on how much you can afford(and how soon) and the effort you put in.
