There is no way of cutting corners. As you say, social media makes it seem like you can and getting ‘fit quick’ or ‘rich quick’ but that’s just not how life works for the most part. Great video 🙏🏼
Happy new year. I think there is a cringe factor at play I quit drinking alcohol June 6 I started working out aug 11 not the same year but when I decided to do those things I started immediately. If you think you’re going to make a big life change it happens when it happens not next week or I’ll start this Jan 1. I had a hard job and now I have an easier one so working out wasn’t that hard. When I quit drinking I decided to cook a hamburger that was two weeks old forgot about it and passed out on the floor. I woke up to a room full of smoke and a hangover like you wouldn’t believe. Can you imagine if I said man I got to quit Jan 1. Gyms are so full in January but it gets less crowded over the next couple months. I’m glad people are trying to better themselves but if you never worked out before it’s not realistic to be a sex god by June. I guess my point it if you really want to change progress is slow. And it can’t be accelerated to burnout. The chances of seeing someone make it on whatever endeavor is so much stronger any other day than Jan 1. Those guys hitting the gym Jan 1 don’t need to push their muscles to total failure. Evan as a hard working fisherman I took it kind of easy my first two months. I only do a few exercises to failure. But anyways I’m talking heavy on the gym people because there’s a lot right now and I already see them burning themselves out. Some just need to do a little yoga online get the blood flowing fitness is a lifetime journey.
