Episode 08: Recording The Album The episode where the girls record “You Know I Can” , “Love This Way” and “What’s Good 4 The Goose”. I didn’t understand why they took the rap out of the song lol but fun fact “Fergie” helped write the song :) Sorry you guys had to wait so long for me to upload! Xoxo
Same! I was 12 when this aired and I remember thinking “they sound so professional!”. And when I bought the CD I was so surprised that the rap was missing. I went online to make sure I didn’t have a faulty disc lol. Thank you so much for uploading these!
Wow, looking back I totally believed that whole shadow performance was live but now I can totally tell they were just semi-dancing to the pre-recorded tracks. Makes sense for how little time they had and the strictly perfect image they had to adhere to.
It’s crazy now they’re competing for vocals, kinda shows the competition doesn’t really end especially in a girl group, 5th harmony had to fight over vocals
Funny how they were worried about Rosanna's voice before the silhouette performance, yet they only sang the first part (without the music) live, and lip synced to the rest.
If ec never disbanded, I could definitely see the pussycat dolls with melody, carmit, ashley and jessica sharing lead vocals (I mean, when they first got into it, kimberly wasn't a part of the recording grp yet)
@@margicates553 I remember thinking that when the episode originally aired. Like, I couldn't even get into the rhythm or the music 'cause the title was so silly, it just made it a bad song. Interestingly, it was written by Fergie for her girl group at the time and then sold instead.

bruddahlekii It's okay your forgiven thank you for this they were one of my favorite girl groups Eden's Crush and Soluna
Now that you say that, it sounds like a Fergie song lol
Fun fact about Fergie she was on meth at this time 😊
Another fun fact when the black eye peas asked Nicole to be their girl in the group she declined and they went with Fergie
Their CD as a whole was amazing. Not 1 bad song.
Rosanna has such a beautiful voice!
Yes ,she sounds like Nicole ..Ana maria,Nicole and Roseanna where the best in the group..ivette definitely was the star of the group ..
They were actually a good group imo. They had talent, wonder what could have been

Probably my favorite episode besides the actual concert!

I remember this is where i learned music videos were pre recorded lol
Same. It's also where I learned that these group studio clips are also just the studio track playing instead of them singing into the mics lol.
just saw nicole was the youngest maybe thats why she was so quiet
It’s crazy now they’re competing for vocals, kinda shows the competition doesn’t really end especially in a girl group, 5th harmony had to fight over vocals
So did En Vogue and Little Mix
Ok so it's apparent to me now Nicole was always just that girl

Also, completely forgot about the rap version of Good 4 The Goose
Rene Adrian Sierra same!!
Back when everything still wasn't all autotune and the singers actually had talent in the studio and on the stage.
If ec never disbanded, I could definitely see the pussycat dolls with melody, carmit, ashley and jessica sharing lead vocals (I mean, when they first got into it, kimberly wasn't a part of the recording grp yet)
Ok but “good for goose” is the most ridiculous title for a pop song ever.
"What's Good 4 the Goose" was the official title haha.
That's actually an old saying...
Yep, and it’s dated and silly.

It's not if you know what it means
David Foster looks like he loves to eat tuna from the can
