- This video depicts the birth of our firstborn in Malmo, Sweden. In Sweden, healthcare is free and we did not pay a penny for the whole delivery process. We had a wonderful experience and in the next videos, we will share our experiences for the same.
When you think you are in labor, the first thing to do is to connect with the delivery ward. The midwife will let you know if you need to come to the hospital for an examination or not. During the examination, they will determine if you need admission or they will send you back home. In Sweden, they emphasize normal delivery. They have certain pain relief options which you can discuss with your midwife beforehand.
In the ward, they provide 3 meals and 1 snack which is free for the mother and the father. As per how the delivery goes, they will monitor both the baby and the mother in the hospital for certain hours. Развлечения

Please where you living in Sweden before giving birth or you applied resident permit to come to Sweden to give birth and how long does it took you
We came to Sweden in Jan2022 and delivered baby in October 2022. You need to apply for child's resident permit after his/her birth.
Congratulations bro .
I have a question new Born in Sweden will help us in paper for for residence I heard that after a specific time we can be permanent citizen in Sweden if our baby born there, do you have any idea about it if then please make a vedio
Thank you so much for the wishes! Your child carry forwards the same status as parents. You can check the details in skatteverket website.

Without PR is health care free no right
Even without PR the health care is free
To anniz I agree I've had three kids and having them in that position can damage their spines
We were not aware, we will keep that in mind now! Thanks for letting us know 👍🏻
Thanks for letting us know. 🙏🏽 I will completely stop using car seat inside home.
Why would you keep your newborn in the car seat all day? They should be lying flat until 6 months.
Yes, we try the same. We keep her in car seat for 15 to 20 mins a day. 🙂
They should be held
Hi Deepak...which hospital in malmo did you guys choose for delivery ?
Hi, it was women's health clinic in Jan Waldenströms gata 47 Malmo
Hi guys! I’m currently expecting and will be delivering later in the year 2023. I had my first child in Doha Qatar,by an epidural.I’m really scared of the pain of childbirth ( childhood trauma from a hospital visit). How strong was the morphine shot?
Hej Ivy - I regret taking the morphine shot because It did not helped me with the pain, it just made me a little drowsy. Also, after taking the shot I vomited a lot which made me more weak.
But laughing gas did helped me to some extent while pushing.
In case you have more questions, I would be happy to answer them. Also hope you have safe and healthy delivery 😊
@@priyankabhakuni2546 Thank you mama. You’re strong and really beautiful, as is your family. I’m praying for strength and courage to do this. Love and light to you and your family ❤️
@@Summerrain55 We women are creators and after my delivery I have now so much respect for women. We are very strong, you got this Mama 🙏
Congratulations and all the very best. :-)
Hello Mam, I am an expecting mother in living in stockholm. I have a couple of questions.
1.Did your childbirth happen in stockholm? Will they give bath to the baby..
I heard otherwise.
2.Do they give us any healing medicine for tearing.
3.Will you recommend being an Indian to have childbirth here or in india.
May be you can make another video on post delivery covering these questions. This is gonna be my first born and I am really worried.
Congratulations on your pregnancy. We had this topic in our mind, will upload soon :)
To answer your questions:
1. I gave birth in Malmo, Sweden. They don't give bath to the baby, they suggest giving it when the umbilical cord falls off. I would suggest going through 1177 regarding delivery and preganancy, it has all the details.
2. There was no medicine given for the vaginal tear. Also they didnot prescribe any iron/calcium supplement as well. But I would highly recommend buying a sitz bath for the vaginal tear healing. I had some issue later with the tear and seeing a gynecologist took more then 2 months as midwife suggested to consult a gynecologist.
3. Lastly, I think giving birth in India/Sweden depends on two factors, support system and healthcare system. Till delivery everything is great but I felt post delivery care by the healthcare system should be improved as I said seeing a gynaec took time. But in the meantime, midwife was super helpful in answering any questions I had.
Donot worry, enjoy this phase. The maternity care is really great and you will be in good hands. In case you have any other questions, I would be happy to answer them.
Congratulations to both of you :)
Thank you
