I think these tricks are solid but there are better ways adding grain, grade, etc... what makes your footage soulful is composition and exposure. And I think, first and foremost that's the key and you're nailing it.💪
Hello Ryan, great content, solid tips on film making on the GH5. Perhaps you could do a video on your audio strategies for GH5, on location vs studio mics, and your audio post production in audition use of music narration etc. just a suggestion. Cheers Moz from Oz (GH5 + sigma18-35 f1.8, panni 12/35f2.8ii Olympus 45 mm f1.8 )
Do you sell the film warm grain? For final cut. Man i feel u on this video, ive been trying to figure it out for years now but i am close thanks to you!!!!
This channel is so under viewed such good tips something I never really heard many creators talk about but makse sense. I dont like that digital look either and think it makes things look unprofessional Pls keep making more vids like this
you said "Motion blur is more like the human eye, and shutter speed can be slow" but in another video you say you keep shutter speed at 180d - that's relatively higher, isn't it?! (i'm a novice)
I've always been trying to achieve that worm look, i didn't like the digital look and i couldn't find anyone to explain this. Man your great person and thanks. My question do you go in depth with your tutorial explaining this?
Great Video! I love grain. For me it is like a glue that holds everything together. I also have a gh5 and spent so much time. One Thing I would leave here is that you should try resolve. I always edited in Premiere and was watching Tons of Videos how to edit your footage, especially when it comes to Color grading. Since switching to Resolve brought me to that point I Was aiming at! Don't get me wrong. You can Do the same in Premiere. However, I have the feeling that resolve and gh5 play perfectly together and Every time I am impressed how damn good this Camera is. I love grading those 10bit HLG shots!
Agreed. I recently started grading in Resolve after getting a BMPCC 6k and i find it's so much easier to get a great look out of footage than premiere.

As GH5 user, I love your videos. But why all your videos about GH5 had a same value? Maybe you can make a diverse content in the future.
Good point!
