That song kept my thoughts and feelings in check when I would find myself starting to trail down some of the same ol familiar streets....oversexed, codependent, disrespectful,⁵ streets with unhealthy boundaries, seriously concerning "mommy issues," and the nasty habit of calling me mean names like "stupid bitch," or telling me im a waste if time....useless.....Yada yada yada etc. You know all the classics that make a person's self esteem just o soar.
I’m not sure how you can say “nothing special” sure her stuff isn’t flashy but the depth to her writing and the emotional vulnerability I think is incredible.
