I would say that the studio segments and actually testing new cars and hearing their opinion was one of my favourite part of the show. Both TopGear and The Grand Tour. I personally would rather see more of that frequently rather than once a year/ two year massive worldly travel expedition. At the end of the day, We love this trio for their personality and what they offer to the car scene.
This man is credited with making us fall in love with the world of cars and look at the car as the most beautiful thing that man has invented and created and made it something that touches the brain and stimulates the hormone of happiness.

Issue is, no matter the fuel, as long as it goes into a combustion engine, it will release carbon dioxide at some level to the atmosphere. On the other hand, electric cars are not the saviors currently either, because the manufacturing and mining for the materials needed especially for batteries, require a lot of equipment and shipment and transport, which all produce a lot of carbon emissions too. And to produce electricity used to charge said batteries, we still rely on very unclean energy for the most part - hopefully that will change soon though...
@@salvofarnia8046 diesels are awful compared to petrol air pollution wise, and in places like London that’s the biggest concern with combustion engines. Diesels should only be used where petrol isn’t applicable, like trucks and plant equipment. Diesel is known to cause things like lung cancer

The road trips were fun bonus episodes but this new grand tour that is just scripted road trips isn’t going to last long. Please make a U-turn and bring back the old formula or a new variation of it. When I was young I always wait on the Saturday to watch old Top Gear. I am greatfull for all of that happy time in front of TV just waching how they have fun in cars. I would title this interview as "A Petrolhead will be always a Petrolhead", personally I'm an huge fan of all three and I still watch the original TopGear seasons from time to time, looking at the old reviews and how the car world has evolved and how the interaction between them became the show's soul, but to be honest I never watched the new series without them, with all respects to the actual hosts, of course, I prefer the originals.

I love The Grand Tour but I miss their studio like nothing else! It's a car show first and foremost and I always loved the three of them nerd over new, old, their faves, and their most hated cars for an hour straight. I really liked the Specials as well, but now that they have an entire season full of specials it isn't special no more.
He's right about the petrol bit, diesel exhaust is nice at a distance but up close the clatter of the injectors and valvetrain on OHV commmon rail engines in particular is a tad obnoxious even when functioning perfectly fine tbh. People just think TURBOCHARGER=SPEED buut not quite

Just bought a DVD collection of 28 seasons of top gear, can't wait to watch it again.

@@paveantelic7876 we get them at about the rate that we got the other specials at, just without all the other episodes in between.... I think they can still produce some great stuff over the coming episodes, even if they haven't quite hit the nail on the head just yet

I love The Grand Tour but I miss their studio like nothing else! It's a car show first and foremost and I always loved the three of them nerd over new, old, their faves, and their most hated cars for an hour straight. I really liked the Specials as well, but now that they have an entire season full of specials it isn't special no more.
Jeremy used to hate farmers saying they're like peasants and for the poor and its their job and only job.
Now he's more into it than ever.

His biggest regret used to be his GTV6. I’m glad he’s bought one and now it’s the BMW CSL.

He's right about the petrol bit, diesel exhaust is nice at a distance but up close the clatter of the injectors and valvetrain on OHV commmon rail engines in particular is a tad obnoxious even when functioning perfectly fine tbh. People just think TURBOCHARGER=SPEED buut not quite
