Why is it Ducati doesn't consider J. Zarco in the Factory seat. His fast, consistent & precise. This was a great lap once again by the old Frenchman. 👏

@@BS-jn9kh He is 32. I think he has still got 4 or 5 years to be at his best if doesn't get injured. Perhaps, 2 years contract could be a good try.
History well he was a 2 time Moto2 Champion & a regular podium finisher. I think it would be a good gamble to have mature team.
@@dayleashleynolasco5765 I think 4-5 years is a bit optimistic.. i think at 35 most guys really drop off, no matter how good they were.. look at Dovi.
Also Martin and Bastianini are both only 24 years old.. they are yet to reach their best and still have big upsides. Especially Bastianini doing magic on last years bike is my favorite for the factory seat.
But they both have the same consistency issues young riders often have: they are great at tracks they like, but dissappear at others.
But for me the most important thing why i dont think Zarco will get it is his history.. i didnt mean his race history, as you thought.. i meant his ugly divorce with KTM, where he did go too far in criticizing the bike and team in public. If he wasnt that good on Avintia he would have been out of MotoGP by now.
A couple years ago it wouldve been unthinkable that he would ever get a factory seat again in his career.. but as time goes bye, the past becomes less important.
I dont think something similar would happen with Ducati, just because their bike is very good, but i dont know that they want to take any risk with a rider who lost his temper and publicly thrashed his own manufacturer in the past.
