      Hey, I have a question the Crossman vigilante salt gun in Amazon. They have it but it doesn’t say it is salt gone. It just says cross my vigilante and when I click into it, it tells me it’s CO2 powered and
      Air BB pallet does that mean that I can still shoot salt without having a CO2 cartridge if I just simply stuffed the salt where the mag go on that circle thing in that hoses the bullets can I still put salt in and salt without having a CO2 and using the air BB pellet style or whatever wants to call it

    I was considering a Shredder but 125 dollars doesn’t make sense to me. Luckily I do have a Vigilante. I understand the barrel comparisons and the longer barrel of the Shredder will pack a bit more punch but most likely at point blank it won’t make much difference. Thanks for all info and the video cuz I am gonna dedicate my Vigilante to salt only 👍

    The salt would likely corrode the steel barrel, and I'm sure the bore diameter would effect things but certainly the shredder is a modified Crosman model 357 frame.
    It sure would be cool if they had done it in the original python style design though.

    • @bullfrogairguns
      @bullfrogairguns  3 года назад +2

      Hey Tyler! Thanks for the view and feedback!! I can see the salt corroding the steel if it was constantly in contact with the salt. I checked and cleaned the gun after playing with it. There wasn't any salt in the barrel. If I wanted this dedicated solely to the salt, the corroding wouldn't matter anyhow. I'll end up getting the shredder and doing a comparison at some point. I agree! They should have done it in the original style!👍👍🤙🤙

I wonder if you cut round circles of tape put one on one side fill it with salt and then put the tape on the other side. Lot of effort but why can't we just copy how they put it in there and reuse them for salt. Thanks for thinking about me in the tag. I'm happy I saw it too.

    Do you think it could corrode the barrel on the pellet pistol. Just curious bc that's the way to go if it doesnt hurt it

    • @bullfrogairguns
      @bullfrogairguns  2 года назад +2

      Hey there Cody! Yes, if you leave salt in the gun and any moisture is in the air, you will get corrosion. If you put a drop of pellgun oil on the co² cylinder and fire it after using the salt, then it'll keep it oiled up. Also, if you buy a Vigilante solely for shooting salt, then a little corrosion won't matter. My barrel is not corroded and I shoot salt more than pellets or bb's out of it. Hopefully this answers your questions! 🤙🤙🤙

      None taken. Not necessarily an advantage over pellets or bb's. It's for a completely different situation. It's pretty hard to shoot a fly that's bugging. Or when there's a poisonous spider, scorpion or whatever else, you don't have to get right on them to kill 'em. This isn't my product and I make nothing from it. It's just a lot of fun!
