Shouldn't Martin know the game is at Old Trafford since he's talking about the match? And shouldn't someone have corrected him? Shouldn't at least someone on this panel have some football knowledge? Jim doesn't really care about football, he's a broadcaster. Simon's a money man and a businessman who likes to pretend he knows about football but doesn't. Salah is a diver, he has got better recently but he has been appalling at flinging himself to the ground, I suspect if someone had raised their voice at Mane Salah would have ended up on the ground.
I liked Simon for a short time but you quickly realise his points aren't always correct but he is an excellent at debating so his points come across as correct his decent with the financial side of things but what I really can't stand is his continual backing of the owners grabbing cash
What does Salah's goalscoring record have to do with the fact that he dives? Both can be (and are) true at the same time.
Not saying Salah hasn't dived before but to call him a 'diver' is a joke. The amount of goals he's scored when he's bouncing of defenders in the box staying on his feet

Slot was the first LFC manager since Souness to win the first two games of his LFC career. He will become the first since 1975 to beat Utd in his first rivalry game.
That was a silly stat for Jim to bring up anyway. Liverpool are not a team which chops and changes managers often so that stat is misleading. 1975 sounds like a long time but Chelsea have had more managers in the last 2 years than Liverpool have had in the last 20 years! Maybe even more, I'd have to check 😅 I don't like stats like that which don't give any proper context.

It's far too early to judge slot and that's one of the things that frustrates me now days slot deserves at least a season to see what the identity is before even judging weather he is good enough because the recruitment team have been appalling for the last couple of seasons and did not back slot in the summer transfer window so we will have to see

Normally, I think Jim White is a reasoned voice on this show, but in the past two days he's spouted about how Sterling has a right to play and is being hard done by Chelsea despite being paid 325k a week regardless of whether he's on the field or not. Today he references Chiesa not playing much due to the injury when he logged in over 2,200 minutes for Juventus last season. Granted, his goals weren't great for that many minutes, but he was on the pitch quite a bit.

Slot will be a success in the Premier League. Ten Hag will be looking for a new club by Christmas.
Ten Haag is under huge pressure. Hes already spent a lot of money since hes been there and now hes spent even more this summer. He has the players he wants now to play the way he wants. A poor performance Sunday and hes in trouble, even if he looses, i think the way in which they loose could cause doubts over how long he has left.
