This treatment has been a godsend for me. I have used it a couple of courses of treatment and it is a true lifesaver. I’ve struggled with clinical depression for years with medication but came to a point when the meds weren’t stopping it. I didn’t even experience any side effects - thank God, just positive results. My treatment sessions were in for 3 minutes each for 6 weeks and it must definitely helped. Please don’t hesitate looking into it if you and your counselor/medical professional think you might benefit.
Thank you for sharing! I’m getting it this month for depression as well and I haven’t met anyone who’s had it done before. I hope you’re still doing well ❤
I had a few treatments and they did help. The issue is scheduling. I have depression but it is not bad enough to need medication. The best way I can describe it is a mild cold that just keeps going. Low dose zoloft helps slightly but the heavier medication side effects make me feel worse than the depression. This chronic life long mild depression is a different disorder and we do not have good treatments for it. I had a psychiatrist with a background in neurology we experimented with lights that emit UVA. It helped he suspected it is an issue with my eyes and neurotransmitters
It depends on the patient, for some people it is painful but that may be able to be mitigated by adjusting the coil position and/or adding a thin layer of foam. They will tell you that it doesn’t hurt and has no side effects but while that may be true for most people there’s certainly a part of the population who experiences something different. It is tedious going 5 days per week for months on end, that’s part of why it isn’t popular.
@@martinlutherkingjr.5582 well yes, it does depend on the patient. But working in that field for 4 years now I’d say 70/75 percent of the patient load I have seen experienced reduction in symptoms or go into remission. Lovely to see.
I can confirm that head injuries especially concussions cause major damage to the brain. Ive had a few major concussions when I was a kid and it affected me for most of my life
That’s exactly how my nephew getting the therapy said. “Jack hammer” 🤔 Not one side of the other but you used his same example. Interesting…. Hope it’s working for you.
Been battling depression since I was 6 years old I’ve lost hair in the back of my head medication wasn’t really working like I wanted to couldn’t live a normal life plus I hate the side effects of medication now I’m doing tms in Denver can’t wait to get through the process of it
It depends on the person. For some people talking about their problems doesn’t work. Therapy works better when people lack insight into their problems.
@ginabrowning6892 I have dealt with depression all my life also - you are not the only one (I am 53). Beginning with Prozac and every depression drug since also. I am entitled to my opinion whether you agree or not. Only a fool would think a magnetic pole is a magic wand especially without a therapist. People like me? Smh.
@@DimplesGenXyou clearly have done no research on tms, there's alot more to it than sticking a magnet to the head. It has the capability to reset the brain, almost like shock therapy can but less traumatic

@@Allison-fs6bqHi!
How are you doing now? Was it useful for you?
@@Allison-fs6bqDid TMS therapy help you?
This combined with Ketamine therapy has completely changed my life. I’m so grateful for modern day medicine.

But it’s some of the best. It works
@@triggbe Not for everyone, it depends on the patient.

@@triggbe That isn’t relevant to the original post. It was regarding outliers experiencing side effects, not typical response rates.
If ya read the title. To me it seems like it is relevant

What frequency applied, and what polarity to the head?
The left side felt like a chisel hammered into my head

how do you feel now?
@@milanic7267I don’t feel depressed anymore I’ feel alot better but it affects everyone differently I guess
Hoping to start this soon.
I would like to try ECT seeing that TMS works.
Are you aware the ect causes seizure small but they are controlled
It’s got a much higher side effect profile, profound memory loss can be just one of the negative results.
Can this decalcify pineal gland, choroid plexus and others?
I tried Spravato which didn’t work so we are gonna try this next. I’m so worried it won’t work either😭
Why is this the last resort? Are addictive drugs the first resort?
Can work for bipolar disorder??
@abdulla_f07fda? Do they even have credibility at this point after the cov*d farce
Bipolar 2, maybe
I was told Bipolar 1 wouldn’t be a good candidate because it might cause mania
Depression is disease of Nerves of Head ( for me Left side ) I take Sertraline 50 and Mirtazapine 15.
Does this work in schizophrenia....?
I wish they had this for post traumatic veterans and in the military.
It didn’t work for me
Thompson Karen Martinez Jessica Lee Laura
These people crying totally look like they were cured

Another money maker for depression...not cheap for TMS but if you are in therapy that is what is really working not the magnetic pole.
