Several of my friends have registered as Republican to avoid having their names purged.
They voting Republican because they're tired of Democrats looking down on them.

I was a long-time registered Republican in Florida, had voted in every election. But then in the runup to the Iraq war, and I realized the Republicans were totally lying to us, I tried to change my voter registration to the Democratic Party. Even though I had been voting there, in the same place for over 20 years, I had to PROVE my identity to the elections commission, not one but twice!! They were doing everything they could to keep me off the voter rolls, and they made it very difficult for me!

A GOP precinct chair in Utah wrote on Facebook that he thinks giving voting rights to women was a “grave mistake.”
“The more I study history, the more I think giving voting rights to others not head of household has been a grave mistake,” Casey Fisher, a Davis County precinct chair who oversees Republican caucuses in his district.

Georgia, Alabama, etc. have been doing everything they possibly can to make it impossible to vote for whom those the Republican leaders don't want voting. Case in Point, Alabama passed a law that you need their state issued ID to vote, with the only place the ID was available is from state license offices, and then they closed 43 license agencies in rural minority areas for "budgetary reasons", making it extremely difficult for many minorities to obtain the necessary ID.
You're speaking rubbish Gary, if there's nowhere to go to get an ID in Alabama, then it affects everyone..not just minorities.
