Adaptive brightness really helps. I get turning off Wi-Fi scan and Bluetooth scan cuz those can definitely save you as well as the diagnostic. I don't recommend turning off location or having to turn on battery saver. If you're new to this phone, that's one thing, but if you're familiar with pixels, you know that the updates come out every month and they are very helpful. Usually within the first 30 days, any battery drain issues are fixed and once your phone learns to optimize to your usage, whether it be heavy or light usage, the battery will start to stabilize. Be sure to drain it to at least 10% for the first few charges before charging
battery saver (incl dark theme) night light (low intensity) adaptive brightness inactivity 15 sec data saver (excl certain apps) scan nearby devices off default print service off msgs background tasks off turn off notification for unnecessary apps turn off background battery usage for unnecessary apps everything else might help u save a bit of battery but not enough to make the sacrifice worth it especially on a $1200 device.
I hope it helps, I left my pixel on overnight and it already has less than 20% battery without doing anything and every hour it drops by 2-3% and it drives me crazy.
You don't have to turn everything off, you can do it partially. This guide is for people who are not happy with the Pixel 9's battery life on a single charge, but that doesn't mean everyone will have this problem.

Great video! I want to ask, how did you have a "black" background on dark mode, on mine it shows dark gray background, not pitch black.

same. not as good as Samsung galaxy.
Agree . It's crazy how much it drain when I'm asleep
I didn't pay $1,200 to shut off everything. The adaptive brightness I never use

adaptive brightness on pixels is actually very good not just from the battery perspective but even from eye strain
