    I consider myself pretty good with Fusion. However... Every time I watch one of your videos, I do learn something. Amazing!

    I'm modeling a wire mesh in front of a 7-segment display for a cool Nixie tube look alike and the mesh has to be bent. This was exactly what I was searching for. Very good and easy to follow examples and I learned a great deal 😀 Thanks!!

    Brad, I really enjoy you videos! Thank you.
    It would be really helpful to have a few detailed lessons on how to Create and Use CUSTOM ENVIRONMENT BACKGROUNDS for rendering!

    Hey Brad, those were some very clever solutions. I always pause when you show the model at the start, just to ponder how to do it, this time I was way off. You approaches were far better.

    Wow! That was a lot of learning I just did right there. It was hard to listen to the way you talk, but what you said and shared was worth the struggle. I hope I can get used to it because I want to learn a lot more.

    when the geomatry is not regular, is it a way to create multiple sections at once? Or should be manually created a plane for each section?

    For me it is easier in millimeters but of course I understand why :)

    im a newcomer to Fusion so im a little confused how to make actual physical attributes after applying a mesh pattern when trying to make a basket model for example, soon as you export it it loses the appearance attributes so im guessing they do not make physical changes to the model itself ?

    • @HollyPixels

      I'm confused here too - any solutions you found?

    Thank you for the video! How come your first pipe command inside sculpt twisted itself at 43:43 ? The geometry is perfectly fine?

  • @par4par72
    @par4par72 4 года назад

    Brad - a lot of the commands you have don't show up on my sketch, like the material preferences / bass/wire frame..=no joy? is this because i'm using a hobbyist rev?

    How do you click-through to lines below so easily? Around 6.30 mark when selecting edges for filleting.

    • @fridgemagnetcampfire
      @fridgemagnetcampfire 4 года назад

      I don't think this is what's happening in the video, but if you have many lines to select you can click the "select" item on the toolbar, then expand "selection filters". You can uncheck "select all" and only check "body edges" (or any combination of features you're interested in).

    Wait what? This is not creating wire baskets it's how to render wire baskets.

    • @risaoram
      @risaoram 2 года назад

      yeah, I wanted to create an actual wire basket and that was my question: is this basically just a wrapped sticker that is an illusion of what I want my body to be, or is indeed a wire basket that can be 3D printed? Seems like the former. Uggh... to make matters worse, I can't even seem to get the render part to work. The materials are not showing up as they should when I apply them.
