The Chronos speedrun videos helped me beat honor mode after I wiped in act 3 while my game crashed. Shoutout Chronos great video the oobliete skip is so funny.
what's the problem you find? If you need, don't forget you can always use task manager to close Baldur's gate and it won't save. I admit I did this on my first honour mode run, to the final boss and to cazador because fighting him for the first time ever on honour mode was an interesting decision..

And barely started a second one before taking a break until getting back into the game after patch 7, so my inexperience certainly doesn’t help, and I’ve essentially been going in blind to a lot of areas since I don’t remember much. It’s gotten to the point where I have mastered act 1 now at least. My last attempt also came to an end with Cazador lol. Maybe I should just do the essential bosses so I can minimize my chance for failing
@@marcgw496 If it helps: the way I beat all my honor mode runs so far has been by playing a charisma focused character as persuading people to not fight is a lot easier than fighting them, especially if you have a bard and a cleric. Beating everything in Act 1 so that you get to lvl 8 before you reach act 2 is also quite helpful. That way you can fight myrkul as lvl 10 making it a lot easier. The right balance for the team is also necessary. On the runs I did with companions I always had a life cleric (there are so many good items for them it makes dying piratically impossible), a Barbarian/Fighter, a charisma caster and someone that can control the movement of the enemies (enchantment wizard, monk, another fighter, etc.) Alert is a go to feat, because if you don't go first you die. That's also a reason to always have Shovel join, making her attack enemies while invisible always makes you have a surprise round. Also don't forget running away is always an option. For the solo runs I finished I had quite dumb builds, and they work even better in a party One was lvl 5 Ranger Gloom-stalker / lvl 4 Rogue Assassin / lvl 1 War Cleric / lvl 2 Fighter that used the titan string bow with strength potions. With Shovel (respec to wizard and learn the spell scroll, it doesn't go away when respeccing) you can guarantee surprise, so in that first surprise turn you have 7 Attacks that will critically strike, add to that arrows of many targets and its wrap. Another, similar, build is lvl 7 swords bard / lvl 4 rogue assassin / 1 lvl War Cleric. Similar setup with shovel. War Cleric is only used for heavy armor prof. and the best spell in the game: sanctuary. Or the GOO warlock that crits on a 13 and makes hinders enemy movement as much as possible. Or not taking damage at all with a frost Abjuration wizard build that bugs the AI and you get unlimited turns in a row without any enemy doing anything because your damage negation is so high they don't even bother to attack. Sorry for the wall of text, I hope it at least inspired you to continue trying :)

18:18 Actually, the game is lying. It is much higher that 25% bc it isn't at disadvantage. The game thinks throwing any creature is at disadvantage because it thinks you are about to be throwing an object at at the creature which gives disadvantage bc you're too close to the creature to hit it well with a ranged attack, when actually you're throwing the creature itself. Because of this, when you actually do the throw, it doesn't have disadvantage. I know all this because I have done multiple runs where I just throw enemies at eachother bc it's funny.
There is an adamantine key for the adamantine chest (the one with the monk amulet). There is a dead skeleton, to the right of the ruins where you find the chest, with a key on him. just a jump away
Can confirm, Gale's slpooge does indeed get your golden dice! It's how I got mine for the first time. I made a serious attempt on the final fight but used the orb as my last resort.
PSA: Skipping ahead to the Mind Flayer Colony to get the Resonance Stone broke my game. My last save was at Last Light Inn, but when I load it, I'm in the colony, skipping most of Act 2. I was just starting to really enjoy murdering my way through Moonrise. 😢
oh oof, that sucks. I'd recommend (to anyone trying this in the future) to make sure you go back to Act 1 (any waypoint) to clear the Pixie Blessing before you save and log out. That way if this does happen you can just cowport back out again

I've found that using the pack rat glitch works on everything except heavy armor for some reason. Like, heavy armor refuses to move from the container to the corpse Is it because I'm using a squirrel instead of a rat?
when im using the rat method,i just get all the items not the money,im using the rich merchant mods where it give vendor 52k gold,is it because of that mods that i didnt get the money ?
