Thanks for watching! Yah, Mike does love his nachos with jalapenos. My Camp Chef Alpine stove was delivered this week, along with my Kodiak Canvas 10'x10' tent, so keep an eye out for new videos coming out this month and next month, reviewing those, including cooking on the Camp Chef stove. We appreciate the thumbs up and let me know if you have any thoughts on what you would like to see cooked on the new wood stove. Rick
Great question. The issue we had was getting the fire hot enough to cook the apple pie. Important Tip: Don't try cooking an apple pie in the oven. The temperature needed to be about 400 degrees F and we could never get it there and it about drove us out of the tent due to the heat. I now only cook things that need to be around 350 degrees, so increasing or decreasing the openings in the door and on the pipe is what's needed to increase or decrease the oxygen flow. The heat is all controlled by the stove. Let us know if you have any other questions. Rick
Nice videos describing these stoves. It’s nice to see a man so committed to his nachos.

How do you control the temperature in the oven portion?
