    Truely explained dear Mandeep bhai
Two years back when my father got admitted due to covid I sold my MF in anticipation of requirement of money for his treatment.
Though the money was not required but had this option be there in my knowledge I would have definitely availed this..
But as the money was not spent and my father came back fine by God's grace I invested that ammount in other instruments...

Yeah but if the valuation of your portfolio falls you will need to buy more shares or pay back amount to loan company and i will suggest you never pledge your mfs more than 50 percent and keep repaying your loan amount rather than investing in stock market but I suggest you you can take a person loan at lower interest of 10 percentage at fixed reducing rate that will be more beneficial bro

For fair comparison, you should do an SIP equal to the EMI you have to pay for loan's case for the 3 year tenure instead of adding back that 5Lakh lump sum at the end of 3 years.
This makes the comparison fair. You see at the end of 3 years; it was better to sell off some of the holdings and add it back in SIP form.
The thing loan offers is stability to the portfolio, it is not the way to earn returns.

    • @neerajiyer2152

@@privacyowl ofcourse... But I would ask you not to see the SIP as an additional burden... If during the repayment of your loan, you're not able to manage both EMIs and SIP, I would suggest you to pause your SIPs till the time you repay the loan. Tip: Mutual funds grow faster when you have a good amount of base and have no SIPs running... The logic is SIPs average out the NAV price so does it reduce your returns..

This could be beneficial when you are going for a larger amount (more than 150k). For small amounts, the processing fee which is 999+gst makes the loan costlier.

    • @ankitkhatana7022
      @ankitkhatana7022 Год назад

Can you explain this with data??

    • @neerajiyer2152
      @neerajiyer2152 Год назад

@@ankitkhatana7022 when you take or wanna take loan you should check for the APR (Annual Percentage Rate) this covers all the charges and taxes and gives you the actual figure of the interest rate. Lets say you wanna take a loan of ₹10k, rate of interest in mutual fund pledging is currently @10.5% now the catch here is the processing fees they charge is a bomb (₹999) or roughly ₹1000.. add up this and now your APR or total interest for this loan is 10.5% + 10%( Processing fee is ₹999 which is 10% of loan amount) So the cost of this loan is 20.5% which is way higher than any personal loan. However the figures change when you take a loan of higher amount let's say ₹1.5L then it would make sense because now your APR will come down. However assuming the processing fee remains the same (₹999). So in a nutshell Loan against mutual funds is best when the loan amount is higher. However for that, you should have enough holdings to get a higher credit line.
Hope this explanation helps.. if not please drop a comment.

      Hi there,
      Thank you for your question.
      Please see the details below:
What is the EMI or repayment details?
      - You're required to just pay interest due every month.
      - You can repay the principal as per your convenience. If you have excess funds, then you can repay earlier and get debt-free fast. If you're low on cash, then you can pay a lower amount. There will be no penal or default charges.
Are mutual fund details shared with volt secure?
      - Yes, Volt Money is fully safe & secure. We work with RBI & SEBI authorized companies to provide you loan against mutual funds.
      - You will continue to see the lien marked mutual funds in your CAS statement. During the loan tenure as well, lien can be removed from mutual funds based on repayment done.
What is the impact in our cibil score after loan received against Mutual Funds?
      - There is no CIBIL impact for checking eligible loan amount.
      - When you take a secured loan, your credit score doesn't get impacted as severly.
If you have any further query or feedback, feel free to reach out to us.

Bhai aap kitni precious knowledge ko us era me free 🆓me provide kra rahe ho, jis era me log free me achi advice bhi nhi dete, becoz free advice ki log value nhi karte hai. Isliye maine bhi free me advice dena chhod diya tha. But ab apko dekh kar feeling aarhi hai ki genuine logon ko advice deni chahiye bina mange bhi but tab jab unhein jarurat ho tab quki tab wo uski value karenge. 😊 I love your efforts and contents bro 🤜thank you for making us critical thinkers. 🎉

Very wonderfully explained video but there is a flaw in calculations. When we took 5 lakh loan for 6 yr, we will pay monthly emi, and our total interest come out to be 1.7 lakh approximately. But in the another scenario when we withdraw 5 lakh from MF, we will reinvest that directly after 5 years, if we just increase our sip (with the ammount equal to the loan emi) for that period our total interest will also be reduced 😅😅

Excellent insights!!! I just struggle in one thing.
I invest around 40% of my salary in MF and after that I left with the amount which is just sufficient for my monthly expenses + some buffer.
Now, If I take some loan, then, from where 'I 'll pay that emi.
If possible please consider the scenario where we need to stop some SIP and pay loan emi and, then, show the difference in gains.

Hello Mandeep i am watching your videos from last 2 years and really appreciate your efforts to make us aware on financial management.
There is a loan program from standard chartered Bank Home Saver, if possible could you please make a video on explaining those kind of other loans available in the market.

20:25 - If MF is growing at 8% and loan at 10.5%, the XIRR cannot be positive as you would be paying more interest than returns generated.

Very informative video sir. Few qstn from my side:
    * We can get home loans at much cheaper rates although a lil paper work will be there.
    * One day we will have to sell our MFs finally and we cant avoid the tax on gains.
Like after 25 yrs suppose we have 1.50cr, then LTCG 10% =15lakhs we vl have to pay.

This video is epic. But, never trust anyone blindly when it comes to financials.
Follow everything said here, but the last part. 22:13 until required, don't open a credit line by liening your MFs. Once you open account there and keep everything verified and make yourself eligible for that loan of 50k/1L in single click, that time only you'll randomly feel need of spending. Some expenses will suddenly feel important. That's exactly what credit card companies say right, "don't spend, just keep the card for emergency" (in fact this line was also told on LLA in credit card video) and what we do, we just take it for emergency purpose but our unnecessary spending increases.
    So think wisely.
Thanks lla for such videos anyways. It's good one like your others

Bro earn as much as you want but just never break our trust cause these days people find one or the other realistic looking way to offer help but ultimately they just feed upon lack of time and research by most of us. All the best. Please keep up the good work.
