Fun fact: on my friend’s very first attempt at getting the Adept David King achievement, they fought an Oni. That is already unlucky enough due to No Mither and The Oni not mixing well, but my friend talked to The Oni in the post game chat and discovered that The Oni’s gamertag was “No Luck”.

It is _crucial_ that you get your first hit, and ideally the first down, _before_ the first gen is done.
The Oni is the weakest Killer early-game, even more so than the Trapper since he has no anti-loop or map control until he starts injuring people.

True but Oni isnt the weakest killer early. That would be Myers. Oni at least starts the match at 115% with a normal lunge and bloodlust.
When unbreakable becomes basekit Oni playstyle is gonna have to change so much, I think It will nerf him hard.

@@cosmologicalgarbage5915 Even if it was basekit its still a lot of pressure downing multiple survivors with your power and you still had that potential to just end it all by murdering everyone
another tip is to NOT hold W when turning, as once in demon dash, oni will keep moving forward regardless of whether you hold W or not. Furthermore, holding something like WA to turn left or WD to turn right will actually decrease your turn rate as opposed to just A or D respectively, although I'm not sure why. I just got these from some oni main videos. Oh, also, your turn rate increase when u look up or down, and if you rapidly tap AD, you will slow down significantly, giving you more time to do sharp turns without getting stuck.
damn those will definitely help. Do you know if those sharp turns can be done on blight with the same tech ?

I dunno man. Michael Myers with either the Scratched Mirror or Tombstone add-ons is pretty terrifying.

I love to scare people with my oni ability and the hillbilly perk tinkerer
For me I like to use dredge with terror radius reducing perks like monitor and abuse😂😂😂 the fear in people’s characters when out of the darkness comes dredge and they didn’t know I was close

Another one I found is to fake your demon dash at times when the survivor is tight looping around tight obstacles, allowing you to predict that they will not go to the next set up because they think you will dash ahead or at a window.

Best tip: use forced penance or sloppy butcher. Sloppy is the better perk, but i found forced penance to be incredibly good on oni

I’ve heard people say oni is more hard than fun on console is that true? (Console Oni main here, I have a lot fun with him and I win consistently)

It is. Less turn rate, no flicks
Yes turn to a higher sensitivity when I play oni I have my sensitivity at 80 for I can flick and look up and down while dashing so you can have better turn rate or flick and the build I use is brutal fire up to make him a bit stronger as the game goes on corrupt and another slowdown if you want but I use enduring

Also a little fun fact I noticed in his bloody weapon the blood starts glowing after hitting a few survivors this is unique to him

I’m a console oni main, honestly, he’s fun to play but can have it difficult moments, I recommend mostly aura reading perks and slowdown perks, gives you time for your power and to track players for blood

can we do for survivor next?
One time when I was new, I was playing survivor on Mother's Dwellings and I made this Oni disconnect after 40 minutes. I was using shadow step to hide in the bushes but he ended searching every single locker. Feels bad man.
Another tip for addons if you wanna know, the addons that make you consume less % when downing a survivors are useless, because if you use an addon that increase the seconds, they make the power last way longer
I’m being the oni for Halloween
When ever I play Oni I make sure the Map isn't indoors cause I'll be Abit hard to use the Rush ability to get around the Map faster

Utter BS, biggest lie I’ve ever heard. Tell those to the 12 consistent wraiths I had 3 nights ago that just bodied me as soon as the game started. And they all played the same way, like you said.
Sometimes situational but it’s really easy to pressure with wraith and just troll with him. I’ve played him a lot and all u gotta do is go invisible and keep body blocking loops and pallets to second guess their plays.
