Actually if windows are their only option for a good while like in the first clip, it's better to knife them as they'll be stuck in the vault animation, you can get 4-5 easy knives just during the vault (also saves k/ammo) and as they run away from it you can down them on the other side or catch up with an M1 if they're already hurt.

Learn hitboxes is a good starting point

The always using ur power thing applies to pyramid head as well. Even more so since missing his m2 shot is more punishing than whiffing a few knives
Why would you want survivors to leave loops you can throw over? You should zone them, so they can only stay where you can down them

I have troubles with jungle gyms that have a pallet.
So what would you recommend the best killer be for new players?
Nurse : I would highly recommend her if you’re willing to commit, she is, by far the most over powered hunter in the game. However, she requires a lot of patience because it is definitely hard to grasp her. So if you’re willing to go through a bunch of frustrating matches, to gradually learn how to play her, then I highly encourage you to do so because good nurses dominante higher lobbies.
The Hag: (my personal main) a solid A tier hunter, like the nurse, albeit not as busted, nor as hard to learn, has a LOT of map control. Understand however that, like the trapper, she requires preparation and understanding on where to set up your traps. As a hag main, setting them up in formations, especially in the middle of the maps, in buildings, on pallets and windows, is preferable. Using her as a regular hunter will only make you loose. She has the best add ons and perks of any base line hunter, but beware that most of her really good perks are hex perks, and avoid any and all add ons that remove her ability to teleport. (Also, a solid tip, her add on where the survivors can’t see when they triggered a trap is arguably one of the best add ons for any good hag main.) she’s a very solid pick for someone who wants a good hunter, but doesn’t want to have to practice for hours like the nurse, and also seeing as she’s a very ignored hunter, it’s very unlikely she will receive any changes or nerfs.
Huntress: Shes a baseline mid, but arguably good huntresses make her A tier. Not much to say, she can either dominante matches or loose them completely. Personally there are far better hunters to put your time and effort into early game, but learning how to play her gradually is very effective. She’s good at closing in on distance, and good huntresses are very scary to play against.
Doctor : again, a solid mid choice. He’s not the scariest of hunters, and definitely doesn’t really dominante, but good doctors are still effective, and planning his shocks can render the survivors ability to interact, (aka throwing pallets, or hopping windows/pallets) which can give him free downs or hits. He’s, like the huntress, a solid A tier when in good hands.
Avoid : Trapper, hillbilly, and wraith. All of these hunters are somewhat effective in very low lobbies, but are immediately replaced by better picks. These hunters are below B tiers and honestly just get shat on in higher lobbies.
The Hag is literally just a better Trapper, The nurse and leather face are just better picks then hillbilly (who is a laughably bad killer), and the wraith, while slightly better and can be very scary with pro wraiths, usually get dominated in higher lobbies, there are just so many better stealth killers to choose then him.

Cannibal (Leatherface). You learn the fundamentals of the game which is very important for a new player (unlike previous suggestions of Nurse and Hag-- I *heavily* recommend you absolutely do not play those as your first killer as their skillset is completely different than every other killer in the game). Your chainsaw can deal with pallets, catch up to survivors quickly, and instantly down them. Not only that but he has the best perk for beginners in the game, Barbecue & Chilli (referred to as BBQ). BBQ lets you see the auras of far away survivors after you hook someone. It's really useful to always know where someone is so you can always get in a chase quickly and to know what generators are being done so you can stop it. The Cannibal is a really good choice for a new player.
Anna/Huntress, really decent killer which is still good in red rank lobbys, good map and gen control and easy to patrol exit gates, she's extremely easy to master compared to other Killers (if you have good aim), she was one of my first mains aswell (now Plague, Huntress, Demodog, Ghostface and nurse) her moveset is also similar to other Killers, you can also try Plague, she's one of the most fun Killers imo
Nah. They are healthy close the distance and then throw when they're close, it's faster than just m1
Pro tip for trickster players: Don't, MFT isn't nerfed yet.

If it’s better to use m1 rather than your power most of the time I don’t think it’s a good killer
I disagree. However Trickster is a laughably underwhelming hunter, his power is still good. Forcing survivors out of that looping position is vital because it wastes a lot of time.
It doesn’t make him any better, but it doesn’t a make a killer bad by doing this because it’s saves a lot of valuable time.

@@Xiu19as someone who has been a console trickster main since his release, he's still tricky, but his power is still pretty dominant and fun to use, but I've heard it's way easier on pc
@@mrwoofy6947 Yeah on pc he's unstoppable if you know all the map perfectly as killer, nothing you can really do against him, if a survivor is on a really huge safe loop, the trickster will just switch to another survivor

That last tip in my personal opinion makes literally zero sense.
I rarely if ever see a survivor straight up leave a loop if the trickster pulls out his blades, because they are in either 1 of two situations.
1: On a tile with a reliable object to use as cover.
2: Can’t risk running out into the open or they’ll go down faster if they were to stay on the loop.
Because as people already say, if trickster catches you out in the open or on a tile he can throw behind theirs nothing you can do but try to prolong it.
Baiting a survivor to ‘leave’ a loop just wastes your time as you now have to eat the slight movement speed decrease you also have to handle the cooldown before you can pull them back out.
Then you need your ears checked bro. He literally said "That you can throw your knives over"
If there is another tile to loop relatively close or they have Sprint Burst or something to reach a semi close then they likely will.

I don't need to get my ears checked, because the survivors will literally never do this. in my time of playing trickster since he launched, I've never had survivors leave a loop I can throw over.
Injured or not, they want you to waste as many knives as possible, because they KNOW tricksters will try to use their knives on any tile they can throw over, so why not make him waste a few? After all, if he don't got iron maiden, that's time spent downing the survivor, picking up the survivor, taking the survivor to a hook, hooking the survivor and then walking to a locker and reloading.
The trickster is a medium to close range killer, he's not designed for long range as his blades move slower than hatchets and have a stronger curve.
Survivors move at 4.0m/s, meanwhile trickster when pulling his blades out, transitions to 3.86m/s over the course of 0.35 seconds, then smoothly transitions back to 4.4m/s over the course of 1.25 seconds.
In DBD every second counts and with trickster this is no exception, if you were to do this 'tip' you have now gave a survivor 1.6 seconds of distance, which depending on the map can be a pallet in your face.

The majority of these killer are overpowered asf. It would make more sense for them to be that good if the survivors could fight back instead of running. I have a love hate relationship with this game. The killers def need to be watered down if you will bc running just isnt getting it done right. Not to mention the flashlights are a joke in this game.

The fact his difficulty in the store is "Moderate" is a joke on it's on.
You can give trickster to someone that never played DBD and don't have any experience in looping, etc, and he will kill at least 2 people.

not to ruin the perfect 69 comments (i'm so sorry!!!!) But I gotta ask: Any tips on avoiding trickster? I had playing against him. T.T But playing as Trickster, here's another question: Do you have a good way to tell specifically where the knives are aiming? 'Cause I have massive issue with this. I'm someone that needs that retinal dot to know where i'm aiming.
@Mizumii When you aim as Trickster, knives go slightly to the right when he throws with the right hand, the same with his left hand if you are very close to the target. But that's not a big deal, Trickster is more a killer that requires tracking, just play more often or watch people play it, if you have more questions don't hesitate
@The locker see my issue with playing as tricksters is knowing where I'm aiming. Same for Nurse and Huntress. I can't seem to guess where it'll go and how far. I'm not good at fps games, so those 3 are my hardest to play. (I don't play Bubba, Billy, or blight because I can't catch ppl or with Billy and blight, the movement triggers my condition and I get heavily dizzy (or when facing against clown and his fuckin bottles)
@@Mizumii25 Just play these killers more often, and the more hours you get, the better you will get, even if you are not an fps player, and you have to keep in mind that losing is the best way to improve
