- My best friend in high school was lucky enough to have a mom who owned a music store. He got an import of Cheshire Cat brought in, and it sort of solidified our fandom of blink-182. Nowadays, you can stream anything while sitting on the toilet... just doesn't seem the same, does it?
I always liked the full intro for this song, and really feel like it's a big miss for blink to not play it live with over-the-top production (like, full AVA... maybe if Tom comes back). I guess I didn't really overdo it here, but it's something. Also, for years and years I thought the chorus needed a sweet harmony off the top, so I added that.

An ooooold Cannon T21 and the stock lens! I did throw it throw a lumetri preset in Premier. I’ve been getting requests from buds to do music videos for them since I started these! Now I’m pricing out a newer camera rig, hoping to snag either a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K or 6K, depends on what comes up used 📸 I’m a motion graphic designer by trade, so I’m hoping to expand my skill set with some camera work.
@@CodyCoates Awesome! I didn't expect the stock rigs, that's impressive. You certainly nailed the cinematic part down! The framerate and the way you shot this also gives the movements a bit of a music video vibe, not sure how to explain it lol. (but there is a vibe)

@@CodyCoates i haven’t recorded anything with it yet, just jamming. what’s your signal chain if you don’t mind me asking? are you using real amps or modeler/plugins?
@@DraftZJ just the stock helix plug-in Cali rectifier setting. I’ll tweak the presence, but otherwise I use slate virtual mix rack to coax them into place. I’m starting to work with more DI stuff from guitarist, so part of me wants to look into a couple lunchbox amps and a decent cab, I have space for reamping for sure.
@@CodyCoates nice! i had a combo tube amp for a bit but transitioned over to the axe Fx 3 for versatility and convenience purposes… and it sounds f’in awesome
