    FYI Put your parts and cleaning solution in a plastic zip bag. Put the bag in the reservoir. Add water to reservoir to full mark. Never have to clean reservoir. Save the seals from leaks at the spigot.

    I am a jeweller, thanks for your video! I am looking to replace an expensive Elma ultrasonic and other jewellers have recommended Vevor. You can put jewellery with stones but don't allow to vibrate against eachother..hooks work well. Loose stones can be dislodged but then you can take it to a jewelller for repair! At least it didn't fall out at Bondi Beach!
    Some stones will get damaged or broken so please research first. Opals, pearls , emeralds,corals, stones with inclusions ( fissures or cracks etc) should not be put in, as well as many other stones .

    These can be used to remove rust, just put your tools/fixings in a plastic zip bag with dilute oxalic or citric acid. In Australia Oxalic acid is sold as Diggers "rust and stain cleaner".

    Try using an acid bath to remove rust in the sonic cleaner. Also; I will be using my VEVOR to sous vide a steak. Guga did this to successfully tenderize steak.

      So I bought two Costco (Prime) Ribeyes and Sous Vide one in a standard setup and Sous Vide the other in my VEVOR Ultra Sonic cleaner. Both were heated to 122°F (50°C) for two hours. It should be noted that the ultrasonic cleaner times out after 30 minutes and must be restarted. The difference between the two steaks was absolutely noticeable! My son & GF confirmed in a blind test the steak cooked in the ultrasonic cleaner was noticeably more tender. That’s not to say the other steak was not as good. It was delicious and tender because of its cut.

    Thanks for this review. Vevor says that the tank is 15 cm high, but I assume it's the total height from the bottom of the tank to the lid, and that you cannot pour so much liquid in there or it would overflow and spill over, obvioulsy. So what is the true usable height, i.e from the bottom of the tank up to the Internal groove which is the max level indicator?

    I guess evapo-rust + this works wonders for heavy rust.

    Hose might be for gravity siphon if the drain hole gets clogged and you don't want to lift machine to empty it etc.
    but Vevor is good enough, I bought a jack hammer and a Jack from them, both great, will probs try use your coupon if it still works lol

    Dont use it on jewelry with stones...the vibrations can dislodge them

    Is there a way to set up the temperature on these to a certain degree, (let's say 35C), where the machine does "not" pass that particular temp?
    I have the same model, the little blue light will go off, but the "actual temperature" keeps on rising.
    Thanks a lot for posting this vid

    • @jelreviews
      @jelreviews  10 месяцев назад +1

      Well, on this machine whatever temp I set it to, that's all it rises up to. Not sure why yours would continue to go above your set temp. Possibly the thermostat had gone faulty?

    • @alanb76
      @alanb76 5 месяцев назад +1

      The heating element shuts off at the set temperature. However the temperature can continue to rise from the ultrasonic energy itself. So set the heater temperature lower to account for this.

    • @jelreviews
      @jelreviews  3 месяца назад +1

      No, doesn't need to be full of water... Only warning is don't turn it on when it's completely empty. I've got a video where I've opened these units up, and the four sonic vibration units are on the base.... So only partial water is required. 👍

      @@user-wj7kf8sk5r It's all good, I'm also going off what warning Vevor had written upon their cleaner too. All it says is don't operate whilst empty. I think the reasoning is that the water absorbs the sonic vibrations. 👍

    I appreciate you making the video and trying to show results. However, wiping an item on your obviously dirty hands and saying "Wow, look how clean it is and nothing is rubbing off" or using an obviously dirty rag and saying "Wow, look how clean it is and nothing is rubbing off" is not helping.
    My goal would be for rust/grime removal of hand tools/drill bits/punches in the garage and this seems to not remove rust or bring the metal to a nicer finish at all. I was hoping ultrasonic would be a better option than a vibratory cleaner with media, but it doesn't seem to be for what I'm looking for. Thank you though.
